Violation of Porod law in a freely cooling granular gas in one dimension

We study a model of freely cooling inelastic granular gas in one dimension, with a restitution coefficient which approaches the elastic limit below a relative velocity scale v. While at early times (t << 1/v) the gas behaves as a completely inelastic sticky gas conforming to predictions of earlier studies, at late times (t >> 1/v) it exhibits a new fluctuation dominated phase ordering state. We find distinct scaling behavior for the (i) density distribution function, (ii) occupied and empty gap distribution functions, (iii) the density structure function and (iv) the velocity structure function, as compared to the completely inelastic sticky gas. The spatial structure functions (iii) and (iv) violate the Porod law. Within a mean-field approximation, the exponents describing the structure functions are related to those describing the spatial gap distribution functions.Comment: 4 pages, 5 figure

Pelaksanaan Pembangunan di Desa Rambah Tengah Hulu Kecamatan Rambah Kabupaten Rokan Hulu Tahun 2009-2013

The problem in this research is how the implementation of the development in the Village Middle Rambah Rambah Hulu District of Rokan Hulu in the year 2009-2013 and the factors inhibiting the implementation of the development in the Village Middle Rambah Rambah Hulu District of Rokan Hulu. Implementation of village development Rambah Central Hulu, the authors noticed there is still potential to be managed premises well, so it will give more support rural incomes and for equitable development can be achieved, which is still the wealth of the village in the form of land which can be used and managed by the village government and with the community ,The purpose of this is to determine the factors that affect the implementation of development in the village of Central Rambah Rambah Hulu District of Rokan Hulu. With the research methods used in this study is a qualitative research data collection techniques used is by using the technique of observation, interview and documentation.The results of this study, that the Government Rural Middle Rambah Hulu in conducting village development is influenced by several factors, namely; factor of personnel resources of the village, the source of funding factors, factors of community participation and community motivation factor. Village Middle Rambah Hulu is still not able to optimize the three elements of development, namely; government, public and private, and the authors suggest to the Government of Hulu's Village Central Rambah that would improve the ability of village officials and good communication in carrying oriented government on regional autonomy

Evaluasi Program Pengentasan Kemiskinan Ditinjau dari Proses Pemberdayaan Ekonomi pada Kegiatan PNPM Mandiri Perdesaan Teluk Belitung Kabupaten Kepulauan Meranti

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi program pengentasan kemiskinan pada kegiatan PNPM Mandiri Perdesaan di desa Teluk Belitung Kabupaten Kepulauan Meranti pada tahun 2013. Analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa program PNPM Mandiri Perdesaan di desa Teluk Belitung Kecamatan Merbau Kabupaten Kepulauan Meranti telah berjalan dengan baik dan masyarakat merasakan manfaat dari program tersebut dalam proses pemberdayaan ekonomi untuk mengentaskan kemiskinan di desa tersebut. Hal ini dilihat dari meningkatnya masyarakat yang berpartisipasi dalam mengakses dana bergulir PNPM Mandiri Perdesaan, meningkatnya kapasitas kelembagaan desa, meningkatnya USAha produktif masyarakat setempat

Impact of Monetary Policy on Bank Credit since Reforms Period

Does Bank Rate, Cash Reserve Ratio (CRR) and Statutory Liquidity Ratio (SLR) affect the bank credit? This question always comes in the mind of researchers, economist, academicians, and policymakers and to get the answer to it, many research activities and projects are carried out by them. This study is also on the same line. The study intends to examine the impact of monetary policy on bank credit since reforms period. The study uses multiple regression models to test the selected banking variables by using the time series data collected from RBI. The study found that there is an inverse relationship between CRR and bank credit, SLR and bank credit but there is no association between bank rate by RBI and bank credit by the scheduled commercial banks in India since reforms period

Aktivitas Antibakteri Ekstrak dan Fraksi dari Ekstrak Metanol Daun Manggis (Garcinia mangostana) pada Bakteri Penyebab Ulkus Diabetik

Diabetes mellitus (DM) is a degenerative disease due to metabolic disorders with acute to chronic hyperglycemic conditions. The complication of this disease is peripheral neuropathy exacerbated by bacterial infection, causing ulcers (sores) on the feet, hands, knees, back, and other parts of the body. The mangosteen plant (Garcinia mangostana) is empirically believed to have antidiabetic and cure diabetic ulcers. This study aims to compare the antibacterial activity of extracts and fractions of methanol extract of mangosteen leaves at concentrations of 20%, 40%, 60%, 80%, and 100% against the bacteria causing diabetic ulcers in vitro. The research began with the maceration of mangosteen leaf powder extraction using methanol as a solvent. The fractions were obtained by the vacuum liquid chromatography (KCV) method. The bacteria that cause diabetic ulcers are obtained from ulcer specimens of diabetic ulcer patients. Antibacterial activity of extracts and fractions at 5 concentration series was tested using the disc diffusion method with 10% DMSO negative control and positive controls, namely Amoxicillin, Ampicillin, Ciprofloxacin, Cefotaxime, Gentamycin, Erythromycin, and Doxycycline. Antibacterial activity was expressed by the large area of the inhibition zone on the media inoculated with ulcer bacteria and incubated for 24 hours at 370 C. The results showed that there were 5 dominant bacteria found in the diabetic ulcer specimens, namely Escherichia spp, Klebsiella spp, Staphylococcus spp, salmonella spp, and Shigella spp. The results of the antibacterial sensitivity test showed that ciprofloxacin had the largest area of inhibition zone compared to Amoxicillin, Ampicillin, Cefotaxime, Gentamycin, Erythromycin, and Doxycycline so that Ciprofloxacin could be used as a positive control. The results of the antibacterial activity test for the methanol extract of mangosteen leaves with a concentration of 100% produced the largest inhibition zone, namely 27.10 mm ± 0.1 compared to methanol extract, fractions A, B, and C in all concentration series. However, the inhibition zone of the 100% concentration of mangosteen leaves methanol extract was smaller than the positive control of ciprofloxacin 5 μg / disk, which was 35.01 mm ± 0.1

Peer support through a process of social learning, the process of growing understanding of how to process information from experience, observational include: attention (attention), given (retention), reproduction of motion (reproduction), motivation (motivation), and communication. The purpose of this study was to analyze resident self-efficacy to regardless of drug addiction through family support. This study employed qualitative approach with case study design. Subjects in this study were residents, ex drugs user, peer support, and resident family. The results showed that peer support from fellow residents and the support of the major on duty (MOD) very meaningful and helpful for resident in the healing process

PENGARUH WORKING CAPITAL TURNOVER (WCT), CURRENT RATIO (CR), DEBT TO EQUITY RATIO (DER), DAN RETURN ON ASSET (ROA) TERHADAP NILAI PERUSAHAAN PADA PERUSAHAAN PROPERTI DAN REAL ESTATE YANG TERDAFTAR DI BURSA EFEK INDONESIA PERIODE 2017-2020

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk memperoleh bukti empiris adanya pengaruh antara variabel Working Capital Turnover (WCT), Current Ratio (CR), Debt to Equity Ratio (DER), dan Return On Asset (ROA) terhadap nilai perusahaan pada perusahaan properti dan real estate pada periode 2017-2020. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah data sekunder. Populasi dalam penelitian ini mencakup semua perusahaan properti dan real estate yang terdaftar di BEI dalam periode 2017-2020. Sampel dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 13 perusahaan yang memenuhi kriteria. Teknik pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan purposive sampling. Analisis data yang digunakan untuk menguji hipotesis adalah regresi berganda dengan tingkat signifikansi 5% dan dengan menggunakan alat bantu SPSS versi 23. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa variabel kepemilikan manajerial tidak berpengaruh terhadap nilai perusahaan, sedangkan variabel Working Capital Turnover (WCT), Current Ratio (CR), Debt to Equity Ratio (DER), dan Return On Asset (ROA) berpengaruh secara parsial terhadap nilai perusahaan. The purpose of this study is to obtain empirical evidence that there is an influence between the variables of profitability, liquidity, and leverage on bond ratings in property and real estate companies in the 2019-2021 period.. This type of research is quantitative research. The data used in this study is secondary data. The population in this study includes all property and real estate companies listed on the IDX in the 2019-2021 period. The sample in this study were 10 companies that met the criteria. The sampling technique in this study used purposive sampling. The data analysis used to test the hypothesis is logistic regression with a significance level of 5% and by using the SPSS version 25 tool. The results of this study indicate that the variables of profitability, liquidity, and leverage partially and simultaneously affect bond ratings

Evaluasi Modulasi MFSK Untuk Transmisi Data Melalui Kanal Suara GSM

Pada tulisan ini, dievaluasi performansi skema modulasi MFSK (M-ary Frequency Shift Keying) untuk aplikasi pengiriman data melalui kanal suara GSM (Global System for Mobile Communication). Parameter yang dievaluasi berupa kesalahan bit trasmisi yang dinyatakan dengan laju kesalahan bit atau bit error rate (BER). Evaluasi ini dilakukan untuk menentukan besarnya orde M yang akan dipilih pada aplikasi pengiriman data digital melalui kanal suara GSM. Pada proses simulasi, data digital dikodekan menjadi simbol-simbol lalu dimodulasi menggunakan modulator MFSK menjadi data menyerupai pembicaraan (suara). Suara yang dihasilkan dikodekan dengan algoritma CELP (Code Excited Linear Prediction), kemudian dikirimkan melalui udara yang dimodelkan sebagai kanal AWGN (Additive White Gaussian Noise). Di sisi penerima, sinyal terima yang menyerupai suara ini didemodulasi dan dikonversi kembali menjadi data digital. Dari simulasi menggunakan Eb/No (signal to noise ratio) sebesar 6 dB, diperoleh laju bit 2,5 kbps dengan BER 2,01 x 10-3 untuk M=4, 2,22 x 10-3 untuk M=8, dan 1,87 x 10-3 untuk M=16
