Análise da Viabilidade Financeira na Implantação de um Aviário Automatizado para Produção de Ovos

Given the constant investments in the poultry sector, is necessary to analyze if this type of investment is viable for the producer. Thus, the objective of the study was to analyze the financial feasibility of installing an automated aviary on a rural property in the municipality of Diamante do Oeste. The documentary research involved analysis of contracts and notes writen by producers. Through a descriptive research it was possible to identify the necessary costs for the implementation of an automated aviary, then, in a quantitative way, information was sought from the financial area, such as costs and revenues of the activity. The performed analyses involved calculations using spreadsheets in Excel, and the results found were feasible for the project. The calculated payback time was 7.44 years and it shows the time to recover the invested capital. The internal rate of return that was found is 14.12%, well above the minimum rate of attractiveness, showing that the investment will bring greater profitability than expected by poultry farmers. As for the net present value, the result of R$95,425.22 is positive and indicates viability. All applied capital analysis techniques have indicated that investment in an automated aviary for egg production is feasible.Diante dos investimentos constantes no setor avícola, faz-se necessário analisar se esse tipo de investimento é viável para o produtor. Desse modo, o estudo teve como objetivo analisar a viabilidade financeira na instalação de um aviário automatizado em uma propriedade rural do município de Diamante do Oeste. A pesquisa documental envolveu análise de contratos, notas e anotações feitas pelos produtores. Através de uma pesquisa descritiva foi possível identificar os gastos necessários para a implantação, em seguida, de forma quantitativa, buscou-se informações da área financeira, como custos e receitas da atividade. As análises realizadas envolveram cálculos utilizando planilhas no Excel, os resultados encontrados se mostraram viáveis para o projeto. O tempo de retorno (payback) calculado foi de 7,44 anos e demonstra o tempo para recuperar o capital investido. A taxa interna de retorno encontrada foi de 14,12mostrando que o investimento trará rentabilidade maior que a esperada pelos avicultores. Quanto ao valor presente líquido, o resultado de R$ 95.425,22, é positivo e indica viabilidade.
