Institutional mapping and causal analysis of avalanche vulnerable areas based on multi-source data
Avalanche disaster is a major natural disaster that seriously threatens the
national infrastructure and personnel's life safety. For a long time, the
research of avalanche disaster prediction in the world is insufficient, there
are only some basic models and basic conditions of occurrence, and there is no
long series and wide range of avalanche disaster prediction products. Based on
7 different bands and different types of multi-source remote sensing data, this
study combined with existing avalanche occurrence models, field investigation
and statistical data to analyze the causes of avalanche. The U-net
convolutional neural network and threshold analysis were used to extract the
distribution of long time series avalanch-prone areas in two study areas,
Heiluogou in Sichuan Province and along the Zangpo River in Palong, Tibet
Autonomous Region. In addition, the relationship between earthquake magnitude
and spatial distribution and avalanche occurrence is also analyzed in this
study. This study will also continue to build a prior knowledge base of
avalanche occurrence conditions, improve the prediction accuracy of the two
methods, and produce products in long time series interannual avalanch-prone
areas in southwest China, including Sichuan Province, Yunnan Province, and
Tibet Autonomous Region. The resulting products will provide high-precision
avalanche prediction and safety assurance for engineering construction and
mountaineering activities in Southwest China.Comment: 19 pages, 13 figure
Game analysis on regenerative synergy mechanism of the supply chain of integrate infrastructure engineering
How to ensure the smooth implementation of convergent infrastructure engineering as the risk of sudden public events persists, allowing the engineering supply chain companies to break through the blockages to regenerate collaboratively and form a regenerated collaborative union. By establishing a mathematical game model, this paper explores the synergistic mechanism of supply chain regeneration for convergent infrastructure engineering, which takes into account cooperation and competition, investigates the impact of supply chain nodes' regeneration capacity and economic performance, as well as the dynamic changes in the importance weights of supply chain nodes, when adopting the collaborative decision of supply chain regeneration, the benefits of the supply chain system, are more than those when suppliers and manufacturers "act of one's own free will" by making decentralized decisions to undertake supply chain regeneration separately. All the investment costs of supply chain regeneration are higher than those in non-cooperative games. Based on the comparison of equilibrium solutions, it was found that exploring the collaborative mechanism of its convergence infrastructure engineering supply chain regeneration provides useful arguments for the emergency re-engineering of the engineering supply chain with a tube mathematical basis. Through constructing a dynamic game model for the exploration of the supply chain regeneration synergy mechanism, this paper provides methods and support for the emergency synergy among subjects of infrastructure construction projects, especially in improving the mobilization effectiveness of the entire infrastructure construction supply chain in critical emergencies and enhancing the emergency re-engineering capability of the supply chain
Nonlinear Modeling and Analysis of Pressure Wave inside CEUP Fuel Pipeline
Operating conditions dependent large pressure variations are one of the working characteristics of combination electronic unit pump (CEUP) fuel injection system for diesel engines. We propose a precise and accurate nonlinear numerical model of pressure inside HP fuel pipeline of CEUP using wave equation (WE) including both viscous and frequency dependent frictions. We have proved that developed hyperbolic approximation gives more realistic description of pressure wave as compared to classical viscous damped wave equation. Frictional effects of various frequencies on pressure wave have been averaged out across valid frequencies to represent the combined effect of all frequencies on pressure wave. Dynamic variations of key fuel properties including density, acoustic wave speed, and bulk modulus with varying pressures have also been incorporated. Based on developed model we present analysis on effect of fuel pipeline length on pressure wave propagation and variation of key fuel properties with both conventional diesel and alternate fuel rapeseed methyl ester (RME) for CEUP pipeline
Towards Large-scale Masked Face Recognition
During the COVID-19 coronavirus epidemic, almost everyone is wearing masks,
which poses a huge challenge for deep learning-based face recognition
algorithms. In this paper, we will present our \textbf{championship} solutions
in ICCV MFR WebFace260M and InsightFace unconstrained tracks. We will focus on
four challenges in large-scale masked face recognition, i.e., super-large scale
training, data noise handling, masked and non-masked face recognition accuracy
balancing, and how to design inference-friendly model architecture. We hope
that the discussion on these four aspects can guide future research towards
more robust masked face recognition systems.Comment: the top1 solution for ICCV2021-MFR challeng
Insights into the reduction of antibiotic-resistant bacteria and mobile antibiotic resistance genes by black soldier fly larvae in chicken manure
The increasing prevalence of antibiotic-resistant bacteria (ARB) from animal manure has raised concerns about the potential threats to public health. The bioconversion of animal manure with insect larvae, such as the black soldier fly larvae (BSFL, Hermetia illucens [L.]), is a promising technology for quickly attenuating ARB while also recycling waste. In this study, we investigated BSFL conversion systems for chicken manure. Using metagenomic analysis, we tracked ARB and evaluated the resistome dissemination risk by investigating the co-occurrence of antibiotic resistance genes (ARGs), mobile genetic elements (MGEs), and bacterial taxa in a genetic context. Our results indicated that BSFL treatment effectively mitigated the relative abundance of ARB, ARGs, and MGEs by 34.9%, 53.3%, and 37.9%, respectively, within 28 days. Notably, the transferable ARGs decreased by 30.9%, indicating that BSFL treatment could mitigate the likelihood of ARG horizontal transfer and thus reduce the risk of ARB occurrence. In addition, the significantly positive correlation links between antimicrobial concentration and relative abundance of ARB reduced by 44.4%. Moreover, using variance partition analysis (VPA), we identified other bacteria as the most important factor influencing ARB, explaining 20.6% of the ARB patterns. Further analysis suggested that antagonism of other bacteria on ARB increased by 1.4 times, while nutrient competition on both total nitrogen and crude fat increased by 2.8 times. Overall, these findings provide insight into the mechanistic understanding of ARB reduction during BSFL treatment of chicken manure and provide a strategy for rapidly mitigating ARB in animal manure. This work was funding by the National Natural Science Foundation of China (41977279), the Fundamental Research Funds for the Central Universities (2662020SKPY002 and 2662022SKYJ006), the Key Technology R & D Program of Hubei Province (2021BBA258) and the Major Project of Hubei Hongshan Laboratory (2022hszd013).Peer ReviewedPostprint (published version
Analysis of innovation diffusion theory under “micro” environment - Survey analysis of application and promotion of WeChat among the youth group
Since WeChat has been launched in 2011, as of the first quarter of 2015, the active users have reached 549 million per month1. WeChat has become the largest mobile instant messaging software among the user groups in Asia. Therefore, WeChat is no longer “micro”, and grabs the attention of more youth groups by virtue of the “micro” advantages in the Internet era in a way of low-priced new media. Through sorting 192 effective questionnaires recovered, this paper summarizes some transmitting tendency and suggestions of “micro” innovation diffusion from the research view of the concept of innovation diffusion theory, and development stage of WeChat in the youth group, based on the survey data and by the use of the statistics of informatics, qualitative and quantitative analysis method, so as to provide a certain theoretical basis for the future research of WeChat
