    Get PDF
Information on the elemental content of incinerator burning of human organ, animal and medical waste is scanty in India Nineteen trace elements were analyzed in the incinerator ash from four major hospitals, one municipal waste incinerator and two R & D laboratories engaged in animal experiment in Lucknow city. Concentrations of Zinc and Lead were found to be very high in comparison to other metals due to burning of plastic products. The source of Ca, P and K are mainly bone, teeth and other animal organs. A wide variation in trace concentration of several toxic elements have been seen due to variation in initial waste composition, design of the incinerator and operating conditions

A new security primitive for secure applications are required these days. Captcha technology solves the most security based problems. Captcha as graphical passwords (CaRP) is proposed in this work along with secure upload of events and an Improved method of CaRP. We consider an event update application, where security is highly required. CaRP addresses a number of security problems altogether, such as online guessing attacks, relay attacks, and, if combined with dual-view technologies, shoulder-surfing attacks. CaRP deals only with the security related to authentication, in most of the application, only authentication security is not enough, thus we develop a secure event upload model even after CaRP authentication. This system offers high security to the authentication and published content Along with an Improved Method of CaRP. DOI: 10.17762/ijritcc2321-8169.150513

Aim: The present investigation concerns the development of controlled release matrix tablet of Diltiazem HCl.Methods: Matrix tablet of Diltiazem HCl was formulated by using HPMC and Guar gum as a polymeric matrix forming materials in various concentrations (%w/w) to study their ability to retard the release. The tablets were prepared by wet granulation method and evaluated for physical properties, content uniformity, swelling index, stability and in-vitro drug release. Results: Swelling was increased as the concentration and viscosity of HPMC increases. Tablets formulated using guar gum and HPMC alone were gave initial burst effect followed by controlled release for 8 hr. It was evident from the study that the formulationsF7,F8 &F9 have optimum swelling index and in vitro drug release up to 44% in 8hrs. The stability studies of optimized batch showed that there was no change in hardness, swelling index and in-vitro release up to 12 weeks. Conclusions: The batches F7, F8 and F9 possessed the high potential to release the drug gradually for more than 8 hours. The zero-order release kinetic indicates concentration independent drug release ensuring that the formulated tablet showed promising result to be a sustained release formulation

Review on PAR Reduction Techniques for MIMO-OFDM

Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) is a multicarrier communication scheme Plays a prominent role in wireless communication technology as multicarrier transmission scheme. The combination of multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) technology with orthogonal frequency division multiplexing is an attractive solution for next generation of wireless network. However, practical implementation of OFDM introduced a major drawback known as high Peak-to-Average Power ratio (PAR). This paper inclusion detail of peak-to-Average Power ratio and its reduction techniques

Crisis: Capitalism, Economics and the Environment

    Get PDF
The basic thesis of this paper is that there is an undeniable tension between maximization of individual welfare and a sustainable and healthy environment in a finite world. Following from this, the further claim is that our current capitalist system of private production and ownership is fundamentally in tension with the environment and should be changed. Without a change in attitude toward our conceptualization of these problems, that is, without contextualizing these problems outside of the market-based solutions and free market solutions, crisis is inevitable. Homo economicus needs to be replaced by homo environmentus

A Review to Optimize the Heat Transfer Rate and Increase the efficiency of the Cooling Tower

Cooling towers are commonly used to reject heat from condenser water, heat exchanger, and other processing equipments. A cooling tower cools the hot water by a combination of heat and mass transfer. This equipment used to reduce the temperature of a water stream by extracting heat from hot water and emitting it to the atmosphere. They are used in a variety such as power generation and refrigeration. Cooling towers are also designed for industrial plants for various purposes and sizes to provide cool water. Typically, a condenser of a power plant and or of heating ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) system has been cooled by water. The hot water to be cooled is distributed in the tower by spray nozzles, splash bars, or film-type fill, which exposes very large water surface area to atmospheric air. A portion of the water will absorbs heat and converted in to a vapor at the constant pressure. This latent heat has been long used to transfer heat from water to the atmosphere. Lots of work have been carried out with wire mesh, zig-zag type fins and etc and measure the significant improvement in the efficiency and heat transfer rate of the cooling tower. So, if the spirals section or twisted tape types fins used in the cooling tower than it gives the better results in the enhancement of heat transfer rate or efficiency of the cooling tower. Climate change is the burning issue of the current era. Because of the advancement in the technology and accelerated use of fuels have lead to the increasing concentration of the Greenhouse gases. Greenhouse gases affect the climate system very badly. The Climate of the Earth varies naturally because of a variety of cosmological and geological processes but Climate change refers to an additional and relatively rapid change induced by human actions. The average temperature of the Earth is increasing very rapidly over the past 30 years and because of that the snow is melting on the glaciers and the sea water level is increasing gradually rapidly and as a result of that many temperature sensitive systems / processes have been disturbed and changed over the past two decades. The additional change of several degree centigrade (oC) with in a century will disrupt the foundations of life on Earth

This paper presents additional support to embedded device and android phone. Today we are living in a smart world where controlling and monitoring is playing an important role in human life more tasks are carried out with the help of smart phones.. Computer control systems for controlling and monitoring need good processing power and Memory resources, standard networking options and enough Input /Output lines for connecting to Sensors, Gpio’s, different bus’s. The explosive advancement of mobile devices running on the Android operating system brought us minimal effort devices that satisfy every one of these requirements for mechanical control, missing just input/output lines.mobile phone will connect to any device without rooting just connect the device using simple USB cable and mobile is going into accessory mode and we access device which are connected with Smartphone. A reinforcement learning algorithm with the aim to increase the throughput of a Wireless Sensor Network (WSN) and decrease latency in a decentralized manner. WSNs are collections of sensor nodes that gather environmental data, where the main challenges are the limited power supply of nodes and the need for decentralized control. A distributed resource allocation algorithm for cellular MIMO networks by adopting a Reinforcement Learning (RL) approach. We use RL methods which employ Growing Self Organizing Maps to deal with the huge and continuous problem space. The goal of the algorithm is to maximize the network throughput in a fair manner. Indeed, the algorithm maximizes the throughput until fairness violation does not exceed an adjustable threshold
