The relationship between literature (especially poetry) and philosophy and theology is receiving increasing attention from scholars in all three areas. It is the author\u27s conviction that the sensitivity of poets often makes them pioneers in recognizing new situations and impending changes and that some of the outstanding theologians and philosophers of our day have been strongly influenced by poetic insights
