    This research discusses about development of LKS multirepresentation based problem solving that is used as an alternative physics learning in the classroom. The research's purpose is to determine the logic validity of LKS, the problem solving skills of students after using LKS, and the student responses after using LKS. Design of this research use 4-D development models, then simple random sampling technique to choose the using class. The results of this research indicates that the logic validity of LKS multirepresentation based problem solving obtain a value 3,98 and included in quite valid category. The problem solving skills of students after use LKS multirepresentation based problem solving with average achieved 85% that included in good category. Meanwhile, the student responses after use LKS multirepresentation based problem solving divided six indicators, there are: the pleasure of learning with a value 97% that included in very good category, the newness of the learning components with a value 90% that included in very good category, the easiness of learning materials with a value 95% that included in very good category, the readability of learning process with a value 97% that included in very good category, the easiness of language with a value 92% that included in very good category, the pleasure of writing and drawing with a value 97% that included in very good category

    If exploitation of ground water is not managed and controlled effectively, it will cause a decline in groundwater levels. The Reduction of soil water content in the layer of the aquifer can cause sea water intrusion into aquifer. Sea water intrusion is influx of sea water to aquifer. Based on the results of observation, the societies of Keting village mostly need groundwater through shallow wells that have a small discharge. Therefore, the Department of Energy and Mineral Resources of Jember conducted a survey to undertake deep wells drilling in the Keting village to supply clean and sufficient water for the societies. However, based on hydrogeological maps of geology directorate environmental governance published in 1981, the Keting village is located quite close to the area affected by sea water intrusion. The purpose of this study is to investigate and interpretate subsurface conditions related to structural dynamics estimation of sea water intrusion at the point of deep wells drilling in the Keting village. The method used is a method of geophysical resistivity with Wenner configuration. Tracks on research along 750 meters with 25 meters spacing. Research results is obtained in the drilling area has a value of resistivity in the range of 5.75 Ωm - 249 Ωm. In the range of 5.75 Ωm - 16.9 Ωm is ground water, in the range of 28.9 Ωm - 49.5 Ωm is very wet clay layer or contains a lot of groundwater, at 84.8 Ωm resistivity value is clay layers were quite dry, while in the range of 145 Ωm - 249 Ωm is gravel and sand

    The research aimed to describe of science process skills students and to assess the effect of guided inquiry learning to physics critical thinking skills students. The research used true experimental with randomized control group only design. Data collection methods used in this research is test, observation, documentation, and interview as supporting data. The data of student\u27s critical thinking skills were analized by using Independent Sample T-Test in SPSS 22. The results showed 1) guided inquiry learning can be used to train students\u27 science process skills. The term proved by percentage increase in science process skills of students from the first meeting until third meeting and if the categorized in science process skills criteria already quite good, 2) guided inquiry learning significant effect on students\u27critical thinking skills. It can seen from the significant value (one-tailed) of 0,0015 or ≤ 0,05. The research can be concluded that: the students\u27 science process skills during guided inquiry learning was classified into good criteria and the student\u27s critical thinking skills after learning physics using guided inquiry model better than the student\u27s critical thinking skills after learning physics using the usual model in Senior High School

    The development research is focused on teaching material of science modules with comic technique and question of cards. The learning activities were concerned to informative book and less attractive to low student motivation. It is impacting to student learning achievement. The science modules with comic technique and question of cards is formating of module structure and developed by comic technique where in a matter of practice and formative tests using a card packed matter . This study aims to determine the validity , motivation , and student learning achievement. The design of this development is a one -shot study case and using 4 - D model of development. The results of this study indicate the validity of the science modules is valid category. The average score of students learning motivation is 83.33 % and it is categorized on the category of motivated .While the results of student learning achievement classically scored 73.21 in the medium category

    This research is development research focused on the self assessment of physics based on web. The objective of the research are to produce a web-based physics learning assessment are valid, describing student\u27scientific attitude, and describing student\u27s responseby used self assessment based on web. Design of development research uses 4-D model. The population of the research is the student of class X at SMA Negeri Arjasa,while the sample is class X Mathematic Science 1. The method of obtaining the data used is logical validation, self assessment scientific attitude, and questionaire responses. The descriptive analysis of validation and scientific attitude used percentage table of validation logic and criteria of atudent\u27s learning scientific attitude. Conclusion of this research showed, the validity of the web-based self assessment instrument can be categorize valid with logical validation 4,01; scintific attitude students showed 61,90% are good and 38,10% are very good; and students given positif responses to the web-based self assessment insrument
