Model adjusted for temperature, relative humidity, and age. One-hour averaged PM concentrations ranged from 8.3 μg/m at 3-hr lag to 15.2 at 8-hr lag, suggesting that short time-lag periods rather than peak values may determine this health outcome. Error bars indicate 95% confidence intervals
