Breadand Effervescent Beverage Productions with Local Microbes for the Local Revitalization

Local microbes such as yeasts fungi and bacilli, were isolated and used to apply for the food processing (bread making) and the production of an effervescent beverage (fruits kvass) for promotion of the local revitalization. Our yeast isolates could contribute to make the breads that can sell in alocal bakery shop.  Furthermore, the same yeasts could be used for making the fruit kvass (a Russian effervescent beverage which was fermented by yeast) with local fruit products (lemon, dry grape, mandarin orange and apple that were produced in Hiroshima prefecture in Japan). Development of merchandise having the local brand, which was made with only products of Hiroshima prefecture was attempted. Results of these activities demonstrate that the search of local microbes can help to establish the regional brand product related to its local area. They also showed that the local microbes have the potential ability to lead the local revitalization and the local brand product

非農林業における家族経営について

2003年7月19日の福岡大水害で壊滅的な被害を受けた嘉穂劇場(福岡県田川市)では復旧作業が終わり、2004年9月17日・18日に、こけら落とし公演となる同劇場名物の「全国座長大会」が開かれた。嘉穂劇場について、研究論文の一節を紹介すると、「嘉穂劇場とは、日本で唯一、現役のままで昭和初期から生きつづけてきた、木造純和風、2階建入母屋造り、江戸時代の歌舞伎上演機能を完全に備えた大衆的な芝居小屋である。今も毎月1回か2回、せいぜい3・4回、細々ではあるが、下町の玉三郎とか、森進一とか、みやこ蝶々・大村こんといった芸人たち、あるいは博多淡海や筑紫美主子など九州の一座が、昔ながらの興行をする。」(鈴木1988 : 51)。2003年、大水害に見舞われた嘉穂劇場の復旧費用は建物本体だけで約2憶7千万円かかり、音響や照明の設備を含め、3億円を超える巨額の資金が必要となったが、個人経営では工面できず、公的支援が受けやすい特定非営利活動(NPO)法人化に踏み切り、2004年1月に、1931年の開場以来72年余り続いた個人経営に終止符が打たれたが、昭和初期からこれまで、嘉穂劇場がずっと存続してきたことは、特筆すべきことである。「昔はこの種の劇場は全国におそらく何千とあったろう。が、今やすべて死に絶え、ごく少数のものが文化財となって『生かされて』いる状態であるが、昔のままに生き続けているのは、この嘉穂劇場一座だけである。」(同書 : 51)。嘉穂劇場が存続してきたのはなぜであろうか、まずはその条件からみていくことにしよう

Points of three lectures about Japanese pattern of management by Ronald P. Dore are as follows. He compares Japanese capitalism with English and American, not West European. Japanese employment system has been connected primarily with the school education system, not with the free labour market, and the wage differentials between managements and workers are very small. He thinks in the future two directions seem to be possible to occur: one possibility is that the English and American system converges to the Japanese pattern, because of the later starting effects of the latter, and the other is the opposite direction, because of the global extension of the borderless economy
