    Effect of Scientific Attitudes and Critical Thinking towards Environment Ability by the Contextual Teaching and Learning Guide with Sets Approach of Seven Grade Students in SMP Negeri 3 Palu

    The objectives of the research are to gain information concerning the influence between (1) scientific attitudes towards environmental ability outcome, (2) critical thinking towards environment ability outcome, (3) scientific attitudes together with critical thinking and environment ability outcome. The tested hypothesis indicated that there is a positive influence between (1) scientific attitudes and environment ability outcome, (2) critical thinking and environment ability outcome, and (3) scientific attitudes together with critical thinking and environment ability outcome. The method used was pre-experimental. The targeted populations were all 503 students in seven classes of SMP Negeri 3 Palu with 36 students samples selected by using a simple purposive sampling technique. The technique of collecting data used questionnaires, critical thinking test, and environment ability test. The results showed that: (1) there is a significant influence between scientific attitudes student’s to environment ability through the contextual teaching and learning guide with SETS approach (Fcount 27.095 > Ftable 4.13) with a contribution of 44.3%, (2) there is a significant influence between critical thinking student’s to environment ability through the contextual teaching and learning guide with SETS approach (F count 9.970 > Ftable 4.13) with a contribution of 22.7% (3) there is a significant influence between scientific attitudes and critical thinking student’s to Environment Ability through the contextual teaching and learning models with SETS approach (F count g 13.475 > Fttable 3.30) with a contribution of  45.0%

    Analisis Keterampilan Berpikir Kreatif Siswa Kelas XI SMA Negeri 2 Palu pada Materi Dinamika Partikel

    Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif-kualitatif yang bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan keterampilan berpikir kreatif siswa SMA Negeri 2 Palu pada materi dinamika partikel. Subjek penelitian ini terdiri dari 24 siswa. Instrumen pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah tes seleksi responden, tes essay, dan wawancara. Tes seleksi responden terdiri dari 20 butir soal yang diberikan kepada 24 siswa untuk menentukan 6 responden dan tes essay berupa soal uraian keterampilan berpikir kreatif pada materi fluida statis sebanyak 8 butir soal yang diberikan kepada 6 responden yang terpilih. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan analisis data menunjukkan bahwa keterampilan berpikir kreatif siswa pada aspek kelancaran dan keluwesan diperoleh nilai rata-rata per soal pada kategori sedang, dan aspek orisinalitas dan elaborasi berada pada kategori tinggi serta keterampilan berpikir kreatif siswa dengan persentase rata-rata sebesar 58,33%. Disarankan bagi guru perlu membiasakan siswa untuk mengerjakan soal-soal yang menuntut kreativitas peserta didik, sehingga peserta didik akan terlatih dalam berpikir kreatif

    The Influence of Problem-based Learning with the STEM using Mobile Learning Toward Problem Solving Physics Ability and Self-directed Learning Student in Dynamic Electricity Subject Matter

    The application of a learning model can affect students’ ability to solve problems, independence, and student learning interactions. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the Problem Based Learning model through the STEM approach with mobile learning on problemsolving skills, independence and student interaction in class XII student learning at SMA Negeri 3 Balaesang. The research method is quasi-experimental with a population of all students in class XII and a sample of 57 students, 29 students in the experimental class and 28 students in the control class. The research instrument was written test, questionnaire, observation sheet and documentation. Data on the ability to solve physics problems, independent learning questionnaires, and problem-solving interactions and student learning independence using the SPSS software application with a significance value of 0.05. the results showed that students can: 1) solve problems; 2) have independence; and 3) interacting between problem solving skills and independence in solving physics problems. The conclusion is that there are: 1) a significant effect of the application of problem-based learning on solving skills; 2) a significant effect of the application of problem-based learning on students learning independence; and 3) there is a significant interaction between problem-solving skills and student learning independence

    Pengaruh Model Pembelajaran Levels of Inquiry (LOI) terhadap Pemahaman Konsep Fisika Siswa Kelas X SMA Negeri 3 Sigi

    Telah dilakukan penelitian untuk mengetahui ada tidaknya pengaruh model Levels of Inquiry terhadap pemahaman konsep fisika siswa di kelas X SMA Negeri 3 Sigi. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen kuasi menggunakan desain the non equivalen Prestest-postest design. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa tes pemahaman konsep fisika dalam bentuk tes esai berjumlah 5 soal. Berdasarkan hasil pengolahan data, diperoleh rerata skor pretest pemahaman konsep fisika siswa kelas eksperimen adalah 6,04 dengan standar deviasi 12,37, untuk rerata skor posttest adalah 12,81 dengan standar deviasi 11,95. Untuk kelas kontrol diperoleh rerata skor pretest 5,78 dengan standar deviasi 13,26, sedangkan untuk rerata skor posttest adalah 8,85 dengan standar deviasi 9,51. Berdasarkan teknik statistic uji-t satu pihak untuk menguji perbedaan rerata skor pemahaman konsep fisika siswa dengan taraf signifikan α = 0,05, diperoleh nilai hasil thitung = 6,74 dan ttabel = 1,67. Ini berarti bahwa nilai thitungberada di luar daerah penerimaan Ho. Disimpulkan bahwa, terdapat pengaruh model Levels of Inquiry (LOI) terhadap pemahaman konsep fisika siswa di kelas X SMA Negeri 3 Sigi

    The Relation Between Metacognitive Ability with Science Process Skills on Grade 8th Students in MTs Negeri 3 Parigi

    This study aims to determine the relations between metacognitive to science process skills on grade VIII students MTs Negeri 3 Parigi. This research is descriptive, the approach used is a quantitative approach, manifested in the form of numbers analyzed by statistics and the results are described. The population is students of MTs Negeri 3 Parigi Academic Year 2017-2018 with a population of three classes, with a sample of 30 students. The instrument used is a metacognitive questionnaire consisting of 50 questions and an essay about science process skills 6 questions test. The result of the prerequisite test of the research result is all metacognitive indicators of normal and linear distributed and based on the regression feasibility test show that all data is feasible for regression test. The result of the regression test and test of determination to obtain a value which is not significant. Based on the results of the research analysis it can be concluded that the relationship of each metacognitive indicator to science process skills was not significant even there were metacognitive indicators that reverse direction significantly. The magnitude of the relationship of each metacognitive indicator with science process skills maximum 15.3%. &nbsp

    Pengaruh Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe Group Investigation Berbantuan ICT Terhadap Hasil Belajar Fisika Siswa Kelas VII SMP Labschool Untad Palu

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan hasil belajar fisika antara siswa yang mengikuti model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe group investigation berbantuan ICT dan siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran konvensional di kelas VII SMP Labschool Untad Palu. Metode yang digunakan adalah eksperimen kuasi dengan equivalent preetest-posttest design. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VII SMP Labschool Untad Palu. Teknik pengambilan sampel adalah purposive sampling. Kelas VII B sebagai kelas kontrol dan kelas VII A sebagai kelas eksperimen. Instrumen hasil belajar fisika siswa adalah tes pilihan ganda yang telah divalidasi oleh validator dan telah di uji validitas item. Hasil analisa data diperoleh skor rata-rata kelas eksperimen 13,13 kelas kontrol 10,50 dengan. Berdasarkan uji hipotesis diperoleh thitung  > ttabel = 3,16 > 2,04. Maka H1 diterima dan H0 ditolak. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh model  pembelajaran kooperatif tipe group investigation berbantuan ICT terhadap hasil belajar Fisika siswa kelas VII SMP Labschool Untad Palu

    This research aimed to influence of a hypothetical inquiry method towards students' critical thinking skills and learning outcome at class  IX SMP Negeri 1 Biromaru.  The research method used is quasy experiment: nonequivalent control group design.  The samples of the research were Class IXA as experimental group (n=30) and Class IXB as control group (n=30) academic year 2014/2015, the samples were determined by purposive sampling technique.  The independent variables in this research is a hypothetical inquiry method and conventional learning while the dependent variable is the critical thinking skills and learning outcome.  Data were analyzed using descriptive statistical method t-test. It can be concluded that influence of a hypothetical inquiry method had a significant effect on students’critical thinking skills and learning outcome ability at class IX of SMP Negeri 1 Biromaru
