</blockquote><h2>Description</h2><blockquote>
The MCMC sampling was implemented with Mathematica 7.0.1. The code Diatom_data_MCMC.nb can be used to apply the estimation scheme to the real diatom data, given in files data_abundance.csv and environment.csv. The code Simulated_data_MCMC.nb can be used to generate simulated data and to fit the model to the simulated data. The files Diatom_data_MCMC.txt and Simulated_data_MCMC.txt include the two Mathematica notebooks in text format.
