Le processus d’intégration des réfugiés, facteur explicatif majeur dans l’intervention

À la lumière de la littérature scientifique des dix dernières années, il apparaît que dans leurs rapports avec les gens de minorités d'autres cultures, les professionnels de la santé et des services sociaux doivent dépasser l'approche purement interpersonnelle des problèmes et se mettre à l'écoute de conceptions différentes de la vie et de la société, et ajuster leurs modèles d'intervention aux conditions d'intégration des immigrants. La situation propre aux réfugiés commande une approche particulière fondée sur la connnaissance de leurs conditions pré-migratoires, et sur de nouveaux rapports plus étroits des institutions d'accueil avce ces familles.In light of scientific literature produced over the last ten years, it appears that health and social work professionals should, when dealing with people belonging to minority cultures, go beyond the purely interpersonal approach to problems. Rather, they should lend an ear to the different notions of life and society, and adjust their intervention patterns to the integration conditions of immigrants. The special situation of refugees requires a special approach based on the knowledge of their pre-migrant conditions, as well as on the establishment of closer ties between welcoming institutions and these migrant families

Territorial thinking and the legal framework in cross-border cooperation : the recent situation and fieldwork results in the western alps.

In this article we discuss the following questions: what is the key to cross-border cooperation, particularly in the case of European mountain regions? Does the legal framework represent a starting point for the development of cross-border relations or is it just a simple tool in the service of territorial thinking? If we consider that there is a strong link between cross-border relations and the European project, the above questions also raise the issue of the relative roles of the bottom-up and top-down processes in the dynamics of European integration. Results suggest that the legal framework represents an indispensable tool in the service of territorial thinking but it cannot be a starting point for the development of cross-border relations. The solutions do not only concern the law but also territory; the essential question is how to define the social, political and spatial boundaries of cross-border cooperation

La coopération dans le monde et dans la classe

Ce texte tente de répondre aux deux questions suivantes: « Comment la pédagogie dans une perspective mondiale peut-elle contribuer au développement " durable " ? » et « Comment préparer les enfants d'aujourd'hui à vivre dans le monde de demain et à devenir des citoyens et des citoyennes responsables de l'avenir de la planète? » Dans ce but, les auteurs proposent d'abord une réflexion sur l'éducation dans une perspective mondiale; ils font ensuite l'analyse d'une expérience pratique d'éducation dans une perspective mondiale (EPM) vécue dans une classe de cinquième année du primaire. L'article prend fin par une série d'appréciations subjectives du programme d'éducation faites par l'enseignante, par les enfants, par les parents, par les collègues et par la direction de l'école.This article discusses two questions: How can global education contribute to a lasting development? and How can we prepare todays children to participate in our future society and become citizens who will be responsable for the planet's future? The authors first present a discussion of global education perspectives followed by an analysis of a research project to implement global education in a grade 5 elementary class. To conclude, the authors present a number of subjective evaluations of this programme made by those involved: the teacher, the students, parents, teacher colleagues, and the school principal.Este texto intenta responder a las preguntas: Como puede la pedagogia con una perspectiva mundial contribuir al desarrollo perdurable? Y como preparar a los ninos de hoy para vivir en el mundo del manana, convirtiéndose en ciudadanos responsables del porvenir del planeta? Para ésto, los autores proponen primero una reflexion sobre la educacion con una perspectiva mundial, para luego analizar una experiencia practica vivida en una clase de 5 de primaria. El articulo termina con una série de apreciaciones subjetivas del programa hechas por la maestra, los ninos, los padres de familia, los colegas y la direccion de la escuela.In dieser Arbeit wird versucht, folgende Fragen zu bean two rten: "Wie kann die Pâdagogik aus weltaufgeschlossener Sicht zu einer "dauerhaften" Entwicklung beitragen?" und "Wie sollte man die Kinder von heute dazu vorbereiten, in der WeIt von morgen zu leben und verantwortungsbewusste Burger der Zukunft zu werden?". Zunâchst stellen die Verfasser Uberlegungen an iïber die Erziehung aus weltaufgeschlossener Sicht (EPM); dann analysieren sie ein in einer Klasse von 10- bis 11-jâhrigen Kindern angestelltes EPM- Experiment. Zum Schluss sagen die Lehrerin, die Kinder, die Eltern, die Kollegen und die Schulleitung, was sie von dem Lehrplan halten

Étude descriptive et comparative d’une population d’adolescents agresseurs sexuels

This article presents the results of a descriptive and comparative study of 37 adolescents guilty of sexual agression. These youths had been admitted to a medium security psychiatric hospital for an evaluation of their sexual problem by specialists. None of them received a psychiatric diagnosis. The results are presented for the entire group but the latter was divided into two, based on the criterion of the age of the victim (agressors against children, agressors against adults). There were numerous significant differences observed between the two groups whereas many similarities were noted with groups of adult agressors (agressors against children and agressors against women)
