Comparison of Different Simulations Methods in Case of Service-Providing Companies

    Get PDF
Optimal functioning of a market oriented company, in particular the service providing company, is an important example of optimisation of actions within the context of complex environment. In this article we discuss the prospective approach to represent reliably the quality dynamics of such a company, in order to contribute to possible future its quality management. The agent-based modelling is extracted, among the set of modelling methods, to serve as a frame for representing the generic service providing company and to analyse its dynamics with emphasis on extracting the quality dynamics

We describe a case of spontaneous dissection of an unknown ascending thoracic aortic aneurysm in a 35year-old woman in her 38th week of pregnancy, resulting in an atypical clinical picture, emergency caesarean section, and lethal outcome in both the mother and child

A Coincidence of HLA-B27 Negative Spondyloarthritis and Paravertebral Non-Hodgkinā€™s Lymphoma ā€“ A Lesson to be Learned from the Past Experience

We reported a case of a 71-year-old woman with progressive low back pain and neurologic symptoms of lower extremities, who in the background had the coexistence of spondyloarthritis (SpA) and non Hodgkinā€™s lymphoma of the paravertebral location. This example describes a situation where SpA with minimal sacroiliac joints affection has nevertheless led to the overt axial SpA. This situation included undifferentiated or reactive SpA, as well as unusual disease context, presented with late-life disease onset, older age, female gender and no obvious hereditary predisposition. This combination of comorbid factors could allow environmental and disease-specifi c factors to accumulate over time and to, by modifying the primary, low-penetrant genetic background, lead to the development of lymphoma. By achieving better understanding of disease pathophysiology dynamic, we will be able to improve our capabilities to navigate biologic therapy in the future, in order to prevent the development of both, overt SpA and lymphoproliferative disease

Possible etiopatogenetics mechanism of sudden infant death syndrome

Sindrom iznenadne dojenačke smrti je javnozdravstveni, klinički i sudskomedicinski problem s incidencijom od oko 1ā€°. DanaÅ”nja istraživanja podupiru teorije kroničnih nepovoljnih perinatalnih zbivanja poput velikih opstetričkih sindroma i puÅ”enja, zatim postnatalnih zbivanja poput infekcije, pretjeranog utopljavanja i puÅ”enja, te potrbuÅ”nog položaja spavanja. Izostanak kardiorespiracijskih autoresuscitacijskih mehanizama uzrok je naprasne smrti za koju je trebao zasigurno preduvjet tkivnog, odnosno receptorskog oÅ”tećenja.Sudden infant death syndrome is a public health, clinical and forensic problem with an incidence of about 1ā€°. Today\u27s research supports the theory of chronic adverse perinatal events such as large obstetric syndrome and prenatal smoking, then postnatal events such as infection, excessive warming and smoking and sleeping position. The absence of cardiorespiratory autoresuscitation mechanisms causes the sudden death which certainly needed a prerequisite of tissue or receptor defects

We present a case of 77 years old male with suspected giant cell arteritis. With anamnesis, physical examination, immunological tests, Colour Doppler ultrasonography of superficial temporal artery and finally with patohistological analysis of temporal artery biopsy, we came to right diagnosis
