    Research aims to improve student achievement on the subject of colloids in class XI Science Senior High School 4 Kundur. This type of research is experimental research study design randomized control group pretest-posttest. Research conducted at Senior High School 4 Kundur. Samples of the research were students of class XI Science 1 as an experimental class and class XI Science 2 as the control class. Experimental class is a class that is applied approach to science, environment, technology and society (SETS) whereas the untreated control class. Data analysis technique used was t test. Based on test data analysis obtained tcount>ttable is 2,33>1,67, meaning that the use of science approach, environment, technology and society (SETS) can increase student achievement on the subject of colloids in class XI Science Senior High School 4 Kundur by category increase achievement (N-Gain) high at 0.71

    This research aims to know the improve of students learning achievement by using Genius Learning strategy on the topic of the colloid in class XI science senior high school 2 Siak Hulu. This research was experimental research with pretest-postest design. The sample of this research were students of class XI science 4 as the experimental research and students of class XI science 3 as a control class that has been randomly selected after a test of normally and homogenity test. Experiment class is a class that is applied Genius Learning strategy while the control class was not. Data analysis technique used is t-test. Based on analysis of the data obtained tcount > ttable is 1,89 > 1,67, it is mean that the apllication of Genius Learning strategy can improved students learning achievement on the topic of the colloid in class XI science senior high school 2 Siak Hulu. The category improvement of student achievement at experiment class was high category with N-gain normalized is 0,79. Meanwhile, the category improvement of student achievement in control class was medium category with N-gain normalized is 0,68. Genius Learning strategy can activate the students in learning process to improve the students achievement in learning

    The research aims to improve the learning achievement of student on the subject of Colloid in class XI IPA SMAN 5 Pekanbaru.     Purpose of this study was to develop learning media based on Adobe Flash CS4 chemistry to produce a decent learning media on the subject of chemical bonding that is developed based on the feasibility aspect of design, pedagogy, content, ease of use in Chemical Education Program. This media development research using ADDIE model of which has 5 stages of development, namely analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation. Model development is modified by the only research to the development phase (development). Results of research-based instructional media development Adobe Flash CS4 on the subject of chemical bonds that have been validated by a validator to be feasible with an average percentage of 97.45% and 91.37%. This indicates that the learning generated media fit for use as a medium of learning

    The aim of this research were to know misconceptions and the category level of misconceptions in the second year students of SMA Negeri 2 Pekanbaru aboutt concepts of chemical equallibrium. This research took place in SMA Negeri 2 Pekanbaru and the data were collected on April 2017. was all the students of XI MIA class of four classes. The population consisted of 161 students. The sample was all the population. This research was descriptive quantitative. The technique of collecting data used diagnostic test and interview. The result showed that students found misconception in the definition concept of chemical equallibrium with the percentage was 34,78% (category of average), for the concept of heterogen and homogen was 36,335% (average), the concept of dissociation degree was 33,54% (average), the concept of Kc measurement was 43,785% (average), the concept of Kp measurement was 27,55% (poor), the principle concept of Le Chatelier was 36,764% (average), the concept of using chemical equallibrium in world industry was 23,60% (poor)

    The purpose of this research is to improve student achievement on the subject of Hydrocarbon in class X SMA PGRI Pekanbaru. This research is a form of quasi-experimental study with pretest-posttest design. The population in this study was a high school science class X PGRI Pekanbaru consisting of 5 classes. Of the population has taken two classes of normal and homogeneous sample , which is a class X 5 as an experimental class and the class as a class X.4 control. Experiment class was given by applied direct instruction model, and the control class was given by conventional method. Analysis of data used t-test. Data of research obtained tcount > ttable (3,44 > 1,67). It means that the application of direct instruction can improve student\u27s achievement on the subject of Hydrocarbon in class X SMA PGRI Pekanbaru by 17,98 %

    This research aimed to increase students achievement by implementation of learning method plane problem on learning topic of colloid in XI IPA SMA N 12 Pekanbaru. The type of this research is experimental research with randomized control group pretest-posttest design. Subject of this research are XI IPA 1 as the experimental class, XI IPA 3 as the control class which were determined randomly after conducting normality and homogeneity test. The experimental group was treated with the implementation of learning method plane problem while the control group without the implementation of learning method plane problem. The data analysis to test the hypothesis was using t-test right side. Based on the data analysis, it is obtaine tcount = 3,92 and ttable = 1,67 with α=0,05, dk = 69, tcount > ttable is 3,92 > 1,67, It\u27s mean that the implementation of learning method plane problem can improve students achievement on the subject of colloid in XI IPA SMA Negeri 12 Pekanbaru. The influence of learning method plane problem to improvement of the student achievement as high as 18,21%
