Metamodel Instance Generation: A systematic literature review
Modelling and thus metamodelling have become increasingly important in
Software Engineering through the use of Model Driven Engineering. In this paper
we present a systematic literature review of instance generation techniques for
metamodels, i.e. the process of automatically generating models from a given
metamodel. We start by presenting a set of research questions that our review
is intended to answer. We then identify the main topics that are related to
metamodel instance generation techniques, and use these to initiate our
literature search. This search resulted in the identification of 34 key papers
in the area, and each of these is reviewed here and discussed in detail. The
outcome is that we are able to identify a knowledge gap in this field, and we
offer suggestions as to some potential directions for future research.Comment: 25 page

Relic density at one-loop with gauge boson pair production
We have computed the full one-loop corrections (electroweak as well as QCD)
to processes contributing to the relic density of dark matter in the MSSM where
the LSP is the lightest neutralino. We cover scenarios where the most important
channels are those with gauge boson pair production. This includes the case of
a bino with some wino admixture, a higgsino and a wino. In this paper we
specialise to the case of light dark matter much below the TeV scale. The
corrections can have a non-negligible impact on the predictions and should be
taken into account in view of the present and forthcoming increasing precision
on the relic density measurements. Our calculations are made with the help of
\SloopS, an automatic tool for the calculation of one-loop processes in the
MSSM. The renormalisation scheme dependence of the results as concerns \tgb

Tungsten fibre reinforced Zr-based bulk metallic glass composites
A Zr-based bulk metallic glass (BMG) alloy with the composition (Zr55Al10Ni5Cu30)98.5Si1.5 was used as the base material to form BMG composites. Tungsten fiber reinforced BMG composites were successfully fabricated by pressure metal infiltration technique, with the volume fraction of the tungsten fiber ranging from 10% to 70%. Microstructure and mechanical properties of the BMG composites were investigated. Tungsten reinforcement significantly increased the material’s ductility by changing the compressive failure mode from single shear band propagation to multiple shear bands propagation, and transferring stress from matrix to tungsten fibers
Modulo Three Problem With A Cellular Automaton Solution
An important global property of a bit string is the number of ones in it. It
has been found that the parity (odd or even) of this number can be found by a
sequence of deterministic, translational invariant cellular automata with
parallel update in succession for a total of O(N^2) time. In this paper, we
discover a way to check if this number is divisible by three using the same
kind of cellular automata in O(N^3) time. We also speculate that the method
described here could be generalized to check if it is divisible by four and

Photoacoustic generation of focused quasi-unipolar pressure pulses
The photoacoustic effect was employed to generate short-duration quasi-unipolar acoustic pressure pulses in both planar and spherically focused geometries. In the focal region, the temporal profile of a pressure pulse can be approximated by the first derivative of the temporal profile near the front transducer surface, with a time-averaged value equal to zero. This approximation agreed with experimental results acquired from photoacoustic transducers with both rigid and free boundaries. For a free boundary, the acoustic pressure in the focal region is equal to the sum of a positive pressure that follows the spatial profile of the optical energy deposition in the medium and a negative pressure that follows the temporal profile of the laser pulse
