This study has an aim to explain the relationship between firm’s dividend policy and share price volatility. In this review paper critical literature review of sixteen papers related to dividend policy and share price volatility is done. There are difference of opinions about the impact of decisions related to dividend policy of any firm, that are they impact on the value of firm. One school of thought said that decisions related to dividend policy have impact on the value of the firm. On the other side the other school of thought said that decisions related to dividend policy does not affect the value of firm and per share market price. As per our consensus the Payout ratio, dividend yield and size of the firm would be negatively related to stock Price Volatility. On the other side earning volatility and debt would be positively related to stock price volatility. Keywords: Dividend Policy, Share Price Volatility, Stock Price Volatilit

Small and medium enterprises (SMEs) play a catalytic role in strengthening the economy of developing counties. The performance of SMEs depends on various factors. Among those factors include innovation and branding practices. This study aimed to investigate the nature of relationship that exists between Innovation, Branding and SMEs performance in sports industry of Pakistan. Furthermore, the study intended to examine the moderating effects of organizational learning capability on relationship between Innovation, Branding and SMEs performance. A structured questionnaire representing dimensions related to innovation, branding, organizational learning capability and SMEs Performance was designed. Survey method was used to conduct study on 352 SMEs in sports industry of Pakistan. Multiple Regression analysis was employed in order the study the nature and strength of relationship between Innovation and SMEs Performance, as well as between Branding and SMEs Performance. Results indicated that both Innovation and Branding have a significant positive effect on SMEs performance. Hierarchical Regression Analysis was utilized to see the moderating effects of Organizational Learning Capability on relationship between Innovation, Branding and SMEs performance. Findings revealed that Organizational learning Capability does not moderate the relationship between Innovation, Branding and SMEs performance. These results imply that SMEs must emphasize on bringing innovations and embracing branding practices if they desire to enhance their performance. The study also contributed to the theory as it extended Resource Based View, Dynamic Capabilities Perspective and the Theory of the growth of the firm by integrating three distinct literature streams pertaining to Innovation, Branding and Organizational Learning

A research has been conducted to check the effects of teacher’s training and teaching methods on academic achievements and interests of students at secondary schools in computer course. The population is divided into four groups; - lecture teaching method (control group), discussion teaching method (experimental method), inquiry teaching method (experimental group) and demonstration teaching method (experimental group). Each group has a sample size of 20 students. A pre-test before training of teachers and post-test after training of teachers for academic achievement and interests of students taught by four teaching methods have been conducted. The results of pre and post-tests are then analysed statistical tools of descriptive statistics and ANOVA test. The results of the study indicated that students’ academic achievements and interests have been increased before and after the training of the teachers taught by lecture, discussion, inquiry and demonstration teaching methods. The demonstration teaching method was ranked 1st and lecture teaching method was ranked last. A Critical Discourse Analysis of Short Story “Property of Woman” by Sara Suleri

Postcolonial literature, by definition, is deeply concerned with the histories, normally with retelling or reassessing the way in colonial/ postcolonial histories have been presented in colonial/ western accounts (Ramone, J. 2013). Critical discourse analysis (CDA) as a tool used to analyse the spoken and written texts to expose the unrevealed ideologies. The purpose of the research is how the author has controlled the mind of people through the writing in short story “property of woman”. The objective of the research is to highlight that what kind of lexicons (discourse markers, modifiers) are being used to control the minds of readers. The researcher has manually collected all kinds of lexicons (discourse markers and modifiers) from the story. This present study answers two questions: 1) What kind of discourse markers and modifiers are used by Sara Suleri to control the minds of readers? 2) How these discourse markers and modifiers are helping to clarify the main theme of the story “property of woman”? For the analysis of data, Van Dijk’s Socio-cognitive model (2006) based on ideology and discourse, has been applied to explain the mind control. The result of the study is that the author has extensively used the lexicons which control the minds of her readers and engaged them in story. The conclusion of the study is that the theme of the story is sociological and ethnographic example of postcolonial literature which analyses female experience in social and political circumstances. The book of proverbs lies in the Old Testament. Beautiful and wisely sayings of prophet Solomon Sang of the Songs and Proverbs are considered the masterpieces that reflect the highest rank of poetry and the most influenced sayings. The book of Proverbs consists of seven (7) sections and thirty-one (31) chapters. The first section (chapter 1-9) consists of sayings of Solomon in which the father or teacher advise his son or students. The second section consists of two parts, the first part (10-14) contrasting the righteous and the wicked, and the second (15-22:16) addressing wise and foolish speech. Verse 22:17 opens ‘the words of the wise’, until verse 24:22, with short moral discourses on various subjects. Verses 24:23-34 ‘also belong to wise’ chapters 25-29 are proverbs of Solomon composed by “the men of “Hezekiah”, contrast the just and the wicked proverbs 30 are ‘The words of Agur’ the last chapter 31 consists of the words of king Lemuel and the proverbs of the ideal wise woman. This article describes the composition of proverbs and throws light on the importance of these golden sayings

Rotten-fruit-sorting robotic arm: (Design of low complexity cnn for embedded system)

Industrial Automation has revolutionized the processing industry due to its high accuracy, the time it saves, and its ability to work without tiring. Being the most fundamental part of automation machines, robotic arms are being used as a fundamental component in many types of domestic as well as commercial automation units. In this paper, we proposed a low-complexity convolutional neural network (CNN) model and successfully deployed it on a locally generated robotic arm with the help of a Raspberry Pi 4 module. The designed robotic arm can detect, locate, and classify (based on fresh or rotten) between three species of Mangos (Ataulfo, Alphonso, and Keitt), on a conveyor belt. We generated a dataset of about 6000 images and trained a three-convolutional-layer-based CNN. Training and testing of the network were carried out with MatLab, and the weighted network was deployed to an embedded environment (Raspberry Pi 4 module) for real-time classification. We reported a classification accuracy of 98.08% in the detection of fresh mangos and 95.75% in the detection of rotten mangos. For the designed robotic art, the achieved angle accuracy was 93.94% with a minor error of only 2°. The proposed model can be deployed in many food- or object-sorting industries as an edge computing application of deep learning

TiO2 thin films have many interesting optical, physical, electrical and chemical properties that offer many applications in different fields of science and technology. The sol-gel spin coating technique has immense advantageous; such as low cost, usage of very simple equipment and relatively easy process control method. The optical, structural, microstructural and electrical properties have been analyzed through four point probe, XRD, SEM, high resolution electron microscopy, AFM and UV-VIS-NIR spectrophotometer. This paper is a research article about the sol-gel spin coated TiO2 thin film. The results will focus on the preparation and coating of TiO2 thin films on glass substrate at different annealing temperatures
