I summarize the theory talks given in the Heavy Flavours Working Group. Vector Boson Production at Hadron Colliders: Results from HERWIG and Resummed Calculations

We discuss vector boson production at hadron colliders and the treatment of the initial-state radiation according to Monte Carlo parton shower simulations and resummed calculations. Theoretical issues on the top mass reconstruction at hadron colliders

I discuss a few selected topics related to the reconstruction of the mass of the top quark at hadron colliders. In particular, the relation between the measured top mass and theoretical definitions, such as the pole or MSbar mass, is debated. I will also summarize recent studies on the Monte Carlo uncertainty due to the fragmentation of bottom quarks in top decays.Comment: 8 pages, 4 figures, 3 tables.
