A study in 20 rats with nerve sciatic compression (WEISL and
OSBORNE method), and compression descompresi贸n in diferent
time s wa s made. The authors studied the sciatic nerve microcirculation
in this situations in front of the normal nerve. They saw an intensive
vascularization immediately after and before the place of
the compression, and a vessels scarcity in the compression area.
After the descompresion it saw a normal and slowly recuperation of
the vascular role, but never so many vessels as in the proximal
zones
Regeneraci贸n del Tronco Nervioso Perif茅rico: estudio experimental
A study of 24 rats with partial subepineural axonectomy or
axonectomy with trunckular casting was made in order to value the
role of the diferent cellular elements of the nerve during his regeneration.
In the experiment the perineural cells persist around a
virtual space. This mean that the cells works like an insulate, also
in absence of nerve fibres, impeding the neoformed vessels entrance
and the perineural cicatrizacion. The role of the SCHWANN cells
is cuestioned in front of the perineural cells importance
tope viene dado por grados irreversibles de lesi贸n inicial.A40 rats study was made with a sciatic nerve compression, using
a variation of Weisl and Osborne method, followed of descompression
at diferent times. The nerve regeneration and reparation
depends of the compression time and of the since descompression
is made. The nerve alteration and the edema wa s bigger with a
longer time of comprenssion. The more time was since descompresi贸n,
more was the nerve regeneration. The limit was the irreversible
initial lesi贸n
Fifty-seven patients affected from an only fracture of olecranon are collected. It is the most frequent fracture of the forearm in, ales in the second decade of life, while it is more frequent in older women. The most usual level is the middle part of the olecranon. The 7 % of the cases were associated with dislocation. The treatment was surgical, reduction with fixation supported by two Kirschner wires
Revisi贸n Cl铆nico-Terap茅utica de 20 Artrodesis Subastragalinas Extraarticulares de Grice
20 cases with Grice subtalar arthrodesis are colected. The authors have reviewed the results obtained. They analyzed clinical, radiological and therapeutics parameters and their influence in the results
Patolog铆a Traum谩tica Asociada poco Frecuente: Avulsi贸n del L.C.P. y Fractura Ipsilateral de Di谩f as is Femoral : (presentaci贸n de un caso)
One case of femoral shaft fracture with acute posterior cruciate rupture is showed by the authors. There are differents papers than point out this association and the late diagnosis of the ligament injury
50 patients with Dupuytren's Disease (76 affected hands) are reported. The authors studied personal history and the association to certain illnesses (alcoholism, epiIepsy, diabetes, etc.). Tissue specimens taken during surgery of 12 of the hands were studied under optic and electronic microscope respectively, showing stenosans microangiopathy. The authors believe that the secondary hypoxia stimulate the colagen production and subsequent fibrosis
Enfermedad de Perthes : factores epidemiol贸gicos y etiopatog茅nicos
A critical study of 25 cases of Perthes' disease diagnosed between 1975 and 1985 was made at the hospitals of N. 陋 S.陋 de la Candelaria and Cl铆nico Universitario of Canarias. A control group of 22 children from the paediatric out-patient clinics was made. Epidemiological and etiopathogenic studies were carried out, being more frequent in boys, in rural areas and the lower classes. The incidence of associated abnormalities was a 20%, being the youngest children of the family. Amongst the previous history they found a high incidence of traumatic and transient synovitis and alterations in the growth and development. They did not find a family bistory of Pertbes' disease present in this study
