Radial and orbital excitations of static-light mesons
We present results for the spectrum of static-light mesons from Nf=2 lattice
QCD. These results were obtained using all-to-all light quark propagators on an
anisotropic lattice, yielding an improved signal resolution when compared to
more conventional lattice techniques. With a light quark mass close to the
strange quark, we have measured the splittings between the ground-state S-wave
static-light meson and higher excitations. We attempt to identify the quantum
numbers of the excited states in the context of the reduced spatial symmetries
of the lattice.Comment: 14 pages, 10 figure
Static-light mesons on a dynamical anisotropic lattice
We present results for the spectrum of static-light mesons from Nf=2 lattice
QCD. These results were obtained using all-to-all light quark propagators on an
anisotropic lattice, yielding an improved signal resolution when compared to
more conventional lattice techniques. In particular, we consider the inversion
of orbitally-excited multiplets with respect to the `standard ordering', which
has been predicted by some quark models.Comment: 3 pages with 3 figures. Talk by JF at "Quarks and Nuclear Physics",

A perturbative determination of the parameters of an anisotropic quark action
The parameters of a 3+1 anisotropic quark action with Symanzik-improved glue
are determined at 1-loop in perturbation theory.Comment: 3 pages, 2 figures. Talk presented at Lattice2004(improved),

Static-light matrix elements on a dynamical anisotropic lattice
The static-light matrix element needed to determine is studied on an
anisotropic lattice with . The improvement in precision due to stout
links and all-to-all propagators is investigated.Comment: Lattice2004(heavy), Fermilab, June 21-26, 2004. 3 page
Static-light hadrons on a dynamical anisotropic lattice
We present preliminary results for the static-light meson and baryon spectra
for QCD. The study is performed on an anisotropic lattice and uses a
new all-to-all propagator method allowing us to determine particle masses to a
high precision.Comment: 6 pages, Contribution to Lattice2005, PoS styl
How a County Utility Can Catalyze the 21st Century Economy: Cuyahoga County’s Vision to Develop Clean and Resilient Energy Districts to Attract and Retain Commercial Activity
The Cuyahoga County Department of Sustainability and the Cleveland State University Energy Policy Center have for the past several years been researching strategies for development of clean, highly resilient commercial districts in Cuyahoga County. In the fall of 2021, the County created a new utility division for the purpose of developing such districts, with the goal of attracting and retaining commercial activity. This paper summarizes the vision of the County as it moves forward with this innovative strategy to develop microgrids and other 21st century infrastructure that will attract business to the County
Phil Powers, Mike Foley, Harry Mushenheim: Marian Library Oral Histories
Kayla Harris interviewed Phil Powers, Mike Foley, and Harry Mushenheim on September 11, 2018 about their experiences as volunteers for the Marian Library. In this interview they discuss their work on the train set with University of Dayton engineering students, the community of volunteers from St. Luke’s Parish and hopes for the Marian Library in the future.https://ecommons.udayton.edu/ul_oral_histories/1000/thumbnail.jp
Mesons at high temperature in Nf=2 QCD
We report first results for spectral functions of charmonium in 2-flavour
QCD. The spectral functions are determined from vector and pseudoscalar
correlators on a dynamical, anisotropic lattice. J/psi and eta_c are found to
survive well into the deconfined phase before melting away at T<~2T_c. Current
systematic uncertainties prevent us from drawing any definite conclusions at
this stage.Comment: 4 pages, 4 figures, to appear in proceedings of Computational Hadron
