A gamifikaÌcioÌ jaÌteÌkszeruÌ gondolkodaÌs eÌs tervezeÌsi elemek alkalmazaÌsa azzal a ceÌllal, hogy a felhasznaÌloÌt elkoÌtelezoÌdeÌsre sarkalljaÌk, keÌpesseÌgeÌt fejlesszeÌk. ABS-Based Direct Method for Solving Complex Systems of Linear Equations
Efficient solution of linear systems of equations is one of the central topics of numerical
computation. Linear systems with complex coefficients arise from various physics and quantum
chemistry problems. In this paper, we propose a novel ABS-based algorithm, which is able to solve
complex systems of linear equations. Theoretical analysis is given to highlight the basic features of
our new algorithm. Four variants of our algorithm were also implemented and intensively tested
on randomly generated full and sparse matrices and real-life problems. The results of numerical
experiments reveal that our ABS-based algorithm is able to compute the solution with high accuracy.
The performance of our algorithm was compared with a commercially available software, Matlabâs
mldivide (\) algorithm. Our algorithm outperformed the Matlab algorithm in most cases in terms of
computational accuracy. These results expand the practical usefulness of our algorithm

Our most important observations were the following: 1) Neutrophil integrins by themselves are not able to induce full activation of the cells (Jakus et al., J Immunol 2004; IF: 6.70) 2) The human genome contains significantly more ITAM-containing adapters than previousy thought (Fodor et al., Immunol Lett 2006; IF: 2.14) 3) Integrins utilize an ITAM-based signal transduction mechanism (MĂłcsai et al., Nat Immunol 2006; IF: 27.60) 4) Development of a new integrin signal transduction model (Jakus et al., Trends Cell Biol 2007;IF: 12.43) 5) Activation of murine neutrophils by immune complexes proceeds through a cooperative action of FcgammaRIII and FcgammaRIV (Jakus et al., J Immunol 2008; IF: 6.29) These results will strongly contribute to the understanding of neutrophil functions and the pathomechanism of autoimmune inflammatory diseases
An Autoencoder-Enhanced Stacking Neural Network Model for Increasing the Performance of Intrusion Detection
Security threats, among other intrusions affecting the availability, confidentiality and integrity of IT resources and services, are spreading fast and can cause serious harm to
organizations. Intrusion detection has a key role in capturing intrusions. In particular, the
application of machine learning methods in this area can enrich the intrusion detection
efficiency. Various methods, such as pattern recognition from event logs, can be applied
in intrusion detection. The main goal of our research is to present a possible intrusion detection approach using recent machine learning techniques. In this paper, we suggest and
evaluate the usage of stacked ensembles consisting of neural network (SNN) and autoencoder (AE) models augmented with a tree-structured Parzen estimator hyperparameter
optimization approach for intrusion detection. The main contribution of our work is the
application of advanced hyperparameter optimization and stacked ensembles together.
We conducted several experiments to check the effectiveness of our approach. We
used the NSL-KDD dataset, a common benchmark dataset in intrusion detection, to train
our models. The comparative results demonstrate that our proposed models can compete
with and, in some cases, outperform existing models

SzĂĄmos kutatĂĄs az ipar 4.0 technolĂłgiĂĄkban a vĂĄllalatok termelĂ©kenysĂ©gi problĂ©mĂĄinak egyik megoldĂĄsi eszközĂ©t lĂĄtja. Ugyanakkor ezek alkalmazĂĄsa sokszor nem hozza a vĂĄrt eredmĂ©nyt. KĂŒlönösen igaz ez a kis- Ă©s közĂ©pvĂĄllalatokra, amelyek, Ășgy tƱnik, sok esetben nem rendelkeznek az eredmĂ©nyes bevezetĂ©shez szĂŒksĂ©ges alapvetĆ szervezeti kĂ©pessĂ©gekkel. Jelenleg ugyanakkor nincs olyan, a kis- Ă©s közĂ©pvĂĄllalati szektorra validĂĄlt modell, amely ezeket az Ășgynevezett ipar 4.0 felkĂ©szĂŒltsĂ©gi szempontokkal Ă©rtĂ©kelni tudnĂĄ. Competence-Oriented, Data-Driven Approach for Sustainable Development in University-Level Education
Higher education has a number of key roles to play in accelerating progress toward
sustainability goals. It has a responsibility to provide and teach curricula that are tailored to labor
market needs, to help change peopleâs attitudes and motivation toward sustainability, and to reduce
inequalities between different students. Course leaders and developers of curricula should monitor
and assess these needs in order to improve their curricula from time to time. In the present work,
we describe a data-driven approach based on text-mining techniques to identify the competences
required for a given position based on job advertisements. To demonstrate the usefulness of our
suggested method, the supply chain management occupation was selected as the supply chain is
a constantly changing domain that is highly affected by green activities and initiatives, and the
COVID-19 pandemic strongly influenced this sector, as well. This data-driven process allowed the
identification of required soft and hard skills contained in job descriptions. However, it was found
that some important concepts of green supply chain management, such as repair and refurbishment,
were only marginally mentioned in the job advertisements. Therefore, in addition to labor market
expectations, a business process model from relevant green supply chain management literature
was developed to complement the required competences. The given new techniques can support
the paradigm shift toward sustainable development and help curriculum developers and decision
makers assess labor market needs in the area of sustainability skills and competences. The given result
can serve as an input of outcome-based training development to design learning objective-based
teaching materials
Myeloid-Specific Deletion of Mcl-1 Yields Severely Neutropenic Mice That Survive and Breed in Homozygous Form
Mouse strains with specific deficiency of given hematopoietic lineages provide invaluable tools for understanding blood cell function in health and disease. Whereas neutrophils are dominant leukocytes in humans and mice, there are no widely useful genetic models of neutrophil deficiency in mice. In this study, we show that myeloid-specific deletion of the Mcl-1 antiapoptotic protein in Lyz2Cre/CreMcl1flox/flox (Mcl1ÎMyelo) mice leads to dramatic reduction of circulating and tissue neutrophil counts without affecting circulating lymphocyte, monocyte, or eosinophil numbers. Surprisingly, Mcl1ÎMyelo mice appeared normally, and their survival was mostly normal both under specific pathogen-free and conventional housing conditions. Mcl1ÎMyelo mice were also able to breed in homozygous form, making them highly useful for in vivo experimental studies. The functional relevance of neutropenia was confirmed by the complete protection of Mcl1ÎMyelo mice from arthritis development in the K/BĂN serum-transfer model and from skin inflammation in an autoantibody-induced mouse model of epidermolysis bullosa acquisita. Mcl1ÎMyelo mice were also highly susceptible to systemic Staphylococcus aureus or Candida albicans infection, due to defective clearance of the invading pathogens. Although neutrophil-specific deletion of Mcl-1 in MRP8-CreMcl1flox/flox (Mcl1ÎPMN) mice also led to severe neutropenia, those mice showed an overt wasting phenotype and strongly reduced survival and breeding, limiting their use as an experimental model of neutrophil deficiency. Taken together, our results with the Mcl1ÎMyelo mice indicate that severe neutropenia does not abrogate the viability and fertility of mice, and they provide a useful genetic mouse model for the analysis of the role of neutrophils in health and disease
