    Cervical cancer is a Malignancy in the epithelial cells of the cervix that can be prevented and detected earlier, but still ranks as the fourth most common cancer in women worldwide. Early detection of cervical cancer in developing countries such as Indonesia that was recommended by World Health Organization (WHO) is Visual Inspection with Acetic Acid (VIA). Indirect Female Sex Workers (FSW) have a higher risk of cervical cancer. The aim of this study is to reveal the results of VIA on indirect FSW at hotspot Y District Tenayan Raya Pekanbaru. The method of this research is descriptive observational. The study population was WPS-TL residing in the hotspot Y District Tenayan Raya Pekanbaru and the samples were taken with total sampling method. The results showed that among 44 FSWs, 17 people (38.6%) of them had acetowhite on the VIA examination (positive VIA). It is concluded that the majority of indirect FSWs at hotspot Y District Tenayan Raya Pekanbaru have a negative IVA results

    Nasopharyngeal carcinoma is a Malignant tumor derived from epithelial cells in the nasopharynx. The rates of nasopharyngeal carcinoma has increased in the region of the head and neck. In 2010, nasopharyngeal carcinoma ranks 5th out of 10th. This study is descriptive with retrospective design that aimed to determine the distribution of nasopharyngeal carcinoma at hospitals in Pekanbaru from 2009-2013. The data collected from anatomical pathology laboratory center and hospitals in Pekanbaru, including: gender, age, histopathologic types and occupation. The result showed that there was 199 cases of nasopharyngeal carcinoma with the highest case found in 2013 were 92 (24,6%). The highest case found in Arifin Achmad Hospital were 92 (46,2%) and the lowest rates was in the Army hospital and Bhayangkara with 1 (0.5%) case. Nasopharyngeal carcinoma mostly infected male 130 (65,3%) cases than female 69 (34,7%) cases. The age range of 45-54 years had 56 (28.1%) cases. Most of histopathologic types had found in the type of undifferentiated carcinoma (WHO type III) as many as 136 (68,3%) cases. The most occupation is farmer and housewifes as many as 32 (16.1%) cases

    Cervical cancer is a Malignancy grows in the cervix. Cervical cancer ranks as the fourth most common cancer in women worldwide. This disease can be detected early by Pap smear and Visual Inspection with Acetic Acid (VIA). Indirect female sex worker (FSW) have a higher risk of cervical cancer. The aim of this study is to reveal the correlation between knowledge and attitude towards the behaviour of indirect FSW at hotspot X District Marpoyan Damai Pekanbaru about Pap smear and VIA as an early detection of cervical cancer. The method of this research is analytic corss sectional. Population is indirect FSW living in the hotspot X and samples were taken with total sampling method to 43 people trough interviews using questionnaire. The results showed that among 43 FSWs, 28 people (65.1%) aged less than 26 years old, 25 people (58.2%) have Junior High School (JHS), 21 people (48.8%) have poor knowledge, 24 people (55.8%) have a negative attitude and 33 people (76.7%) did test. There is no correlation between knowledge and attitude (p=0.063), no correlation between knowledge and behaviour (p=1.000) and no correlation between attitude and behaviour (p=0.302). it is concluded that the majority of indirect FSW at hotspot X have bad knowledge, negative attitude but have behaviour an early detection of cervical cance

    Cervical cancer is a Malignancythat originatesfrom cervical cell. Cervicalcancer is ranked as second most common cancer in Indonesia. The aim of this study is tofindcorrelation between knowledge and attitude towards practice of indirectFSWabout Pap smear and VIA as an early detection of cervical cancer at hotspotX District Lima Puluh Pekanbaru. The method of this research is analytic crosssectional. Population is indirect FSW living in the hotspot X and samples weretaken with total sampling method to 31 people through interviews usingquestionnaire. The results showed that among 31 FSWs, 17 people (54.8%) are26-35 years old, 12 people (38.7%) areSenior High School (SHS) graduate, 14people (45.2%) have poor knowledge, 18 people (58.1%) have a positive attitudeand 26 people (83.9%) do this test. There is no correlation between knowledgeand attitude (p=0.304), no correlation between knowledge and practice(p=0.085).But there is a correlation between attitude and behaviour (p=0.003). Itis concluded that the majority of indirect FSW at hotspot X Lima Puluh districthave bad knowledge, positive attitude andwilling to do Pap smear and VIA as anearly detection of cervical cancer

    Cervical cancer is most common gynecology Malignancy in the world. Cervical cance is second place in deadly high cancer on female after breast cancer. Indirect female sex workers have high risk to get cervical cancer. Pap smear screening is used to identify pracancers lesion. The number of cervical cancer cases can be reduced with Pap smear screening. The purpose of this study was to know the result of cervical smear cytology examination toward indirect female sex workers at hotspot X Payung Sekaki Pekanbaru. This study was descriptive study. The population of this study were all of indirect female sex workers at hotspot X Payung Sekaki and the samples were taken with total sampling method. The result showed that there were 31 people consist 10% diagnosed with negative intraepithelial lesion or Malignancy (Bacterial vaginosis), 35% diagnosed with ASCUS and 55% diagnosed with LSIL. The conclusion is LSIL was the most common intraepithelial lesion of cervical cancer

    Professional behaviour is an effectuate that is expected of health professionals who provide services to the community including remote areas like in the littoral, one of which coastal settlement. This research aims for discovering the professional behaviour of health-care workes of Pelalawan community health center (Puskesmas), Pelalawan Regency that was assessed basing on the six elements of professional behaviour. The design of this reseacrh uses exploration method with qualitative approaches on nine health-care workers of Pelalawan community health center (Puskesmas), Pelalawan Regency, who selected by using snowball sampling method. Data collection was done by interview method and recorded with an audio recorder. The result of this research showed that all informants possess altruism, accountability, excellence, duty, honor and integrity and respect for other, and there are some informant who possess excellence. In general, half of the Pelalawan community health center (puskesmas) health-care workers possess the elements of professional behaviour in carrying their duty,especially in providing service the patients

    Cervical cancer is a Malignant cell which lives in cervical cells. Cervicalcancer is in the second most common cancer after breast cancer in Indonesia.Based on the fact, indirect female sex worker have high risk factor of gettingcervical cancer. Only 5% of women in Indonesia who already have tested cervicalcancer early detection. The aim of this research is to find out the correlationbetween knowledge and attitude toward the action of indirect female sex workerabout Pap smears and IVA as the early detetction of cervical cancer in hotspot XPayung Sekaki district Pekanbaru. This research is conducted by using analyticcross sectional method and total sampling method for taking the sample and ituses questionnaire. There are 32 respondents in this research which most of themare lack of knowledge (78,1%), negative attitude (75%), and willing to do cervicalcancer early detection (96,9%). Writer finds that there is a correlation betweenthe knowledge toward the attitude (p=0,00). In other hands, there is nocorrelation between knowledge toward the act (p=0,607) and attitude toward theact (p=0,572). The conclusion of this research is most of the female sex worker inhotspot X Payung Sekaki district Pekanbaru have bad knowledge, negativeattitude, but have a positive practice towards servical cancer early detection
