Interprofessional learning (IPL) in community based health care (CBHC) was a pilot model to promote interprofessional education and collaborative practice in Indonesia and to offer the opportunity for medicine, nursing, pharmacy, and public health students to have hands-on experiences in IPL in community settings. The purpose of this article is to describe the IPL program and its implementation in CBHC and to present the students’ reaction towards the program. The study was conducted at the State Islamic University in Jakarta, Indonesia in 2012. Sixty two third-year students, 20 faculty members as tutors, 20 people as standardized patients (SPs) and 15 real patients volunteered and completed this program. Students attended a four-day workshop, a two-day simulation and practiced IPL for two months. The evaluation program applied a mixed-method design and showed that the success of the program was due to designing the program based on theoretical grounds in learning and social domains, applying various teaching methods (small group learning techniques, practice-based learning, and reflective practice) and providing a supportive environment for informal activities. The usefulness of this program was evident from a significant quantifiable improvement in student satisfaction. However, the high rate of student withdrawal from the program was the main issue as the program was not integrated into the curriculum.  It needs support from university structures to handle the complexity of professional curricula and the boundaries between faculty/disciplines. Keywords: model pembelajaran CIRC, motivasi belajar, kemampuan pemecahan masalah atau Abstrak This study aims to determine the relationship of the Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC) learning model to learning motivation and problem solving abilities. This research includes literature review research. In this study there is some literature from various sources. In this case, learning motivation is an encouragement that arises both from within and from outside students who are able to generate enthusiasm for learning and provide direction to learning activities so as to achieve the learning objectives. In addition, problem solving skills are competencies that students have in understanding problems and then being able to find solutions to solve these mathematical problems. Among the learning models that can be applied in the learning process is the CIRC learning model. The CIRC learning model is a group-based cooperative learning model. The CIRC learning model is a group-based cooperative learning process that provides opportunities for students to be active in solving a problem. This is based on the steps of the CIRC learning model, namely forming groups, the teacher giving readings to students according to the teaching material, students working together then writing down their collaborative results, presenting group results, and reflecting. In the steps applied to the CIRC learning model, it familiarizes students to be more active so that it can be used as a reference material to increase students' learning motivation and problem solving abilities. In addition, it is shown in the advantages of the CIRC learning model that this learning model can generate learning motivation. Clerkship on primary care and family medicine is multi-elemental and very challenging in amidst the COVID-19 pandemic. Some medical students have postponed their graduation because the clerkship at the health center cannot be carried out in a pandemic situation. This article aims to describe the community medicine clerkship (CMC) module and how the implementation amidst the COVID-19 pandemic. This module was delivered by online and offline activities from 10th August to 13th September 2020. A total of forty students, twelve faculty mentors, and fifteen PHC preceptors from ten PHCs in Tangerang District, Indonesia were involved. Students could carry out activities and fulfill assignments given in the midst of a pandemic with a re-designing of the CMC module. One-sample t-tests were run to determine whether scores of students participating in CMC module during the COVID-19 pandemic differed from normal and showed that individual and group scores were significantly different from normal. The findings of the study clearly indicate that all clinical clerkship modules must be redesigned to suit the current conditions. Modifications and variations of various learning methods, guidance techniques, monitoring and coordination are factors that should be considered in its implementing

Interprofessional education (IPE) is a learning model that brings together a variety of professions. This learning has the potential for the emergence of group conflict. It was needed the tools to evaluate the dynamics of conflict that arose within the group in IPE. The objective of this study was to validate the scales of intragroup conflict (IC) and group atmosphere (GA) in Indonesian version. A survey was conducted at the State Islamic University, Jakarta, Indonesia, in 2011 and we collected 302 valid questionnaires from medical, nursing, pharmacy and public health students. The IC and GA scale were adapted in Indonesian language through the cross-cultural adaptation process. The psychometric properties were analyzed by both exploratory factor analysis (EFA) and confirmatory factor analysis (CFA). EFA of IC scale on 11-items and GA scale on 8-items accounted for 65.1% and 62.0%, respectively, of the total variance. The final model of IC scale is 10 items three-factors and GA scale is of 8-items three-factors. Both scales demonstrated the satisfactory reliability, adequate convergent validity and acceptable indices of goodness of fit. The study suggested that the Indonesian version of IC and GA scale are valid to assess the attitudes to manage intragroup conflict during IPE

The COVID-19 pandemic caused by the SARS-CoV-2 virus has posed a global challenge. Experts from various branches of science have endeavoured to find solutions to control its spread, one of which has been the quick and precise detection of the virus and its variants in patients. This study aimed to detect the presence of SARS-CoV-2, notably the rapidly spreading Omicron variant, using the spike (S)-gene target failure (SGTF) and S-gene target positive (SGTP) with the principle of the single nucleotide polymorphism (SNP)-probe test. Our descriptive experimental approach detected Omicron variants with the SNP-probe technique using samples of SARS-CoV-2 patients and controls. The probes were designed to recognize the nucleotide code of the amino acids in positions 371 and 417 of SARS-CoV-2. The existence of variants was monitored by the presence or absence of a fluorescence signal, which was translated into a sigmoidal graph using a real-time (RT)-PCR machine. One hundred and twelve samples that had tested positive for SARS-CoV-2 and the Omicron variant using a registered commercial kit showed a similar result to our in-house-developed SNP-probe 371 and 417 assays. The results of this study indicate that the SNP-probe we designed can be used in the detection of the SARS-CoV-2 Omicron variant
