    Objective. The purpose of the literature review is to present the latest literature data on endoscopic resection of a laterally spreading colon tumor. Conclusions. Most non-malignant colon neoplasias can be removed by the endoscopic method. When removing LST, it is necessary to focus on high-quality endoscopic imaging, magnification, chromoscopy and narrow-spectrum endoscopy. LST resection should be carried out according to the accepted method. Before making a decision on endoscopic resection of neoplasia, all its characteristics should be carefully evaluated. The analysis of cases of incomplete removal and recurrence of formation is associated with a size of more than 40 mm, localization in the ileocecal colon, the characteristics of the patching pattern and the probability of invasion.ЦСль ΠΎΠ±Π·ΠΎΡ€Π°.     The article presents the results of the use of optical coherence tomography (OCT) in the diagnosis of background diseases of the cervix. A compact portable optical tomograph OCT 1300-U was used. 102 women with background diseases of the cervix at the age of 19 to 43 years were examined. The following pathology of the cervix was revealed: ectopia in-50 patients (49 %), leukoplakia in - 36 (35.3 %), endometriosis in - 9 (8.8 %), flat condyloma of the cervix in - 7 (6.9 %). The OCT method is able to detect the layers and interstitial elements of the mucosa. The degree of structure loss in the tomograms corresponds to the increase in the severity of the process and the severity of colposcopic changes and is comparable with the histological data.     Colonoscopy has been established as the gold standard for the detection of colorectal neoplasms. Adenoma detection rate (ADR) is one of the most important quality indicator of colonoscopy, and, as it has been recommended by a European Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy (ESGE), the benchmark for ADR is 20%. However, ADR widely varies, and almost one fourth of polyps and adenomas are missed. Currently several techniques have been developed with the aim to improve the quality of colonoscopy. Among them there are image-enhanced endoscopy (IEE) and techniques or devices that improve mucosal observation. IEE includes chromoendoscopy and virtual chromoendoscopy (NBI, FICE, AFI, i-scan); among techniques which enable better observation of the mucosa there are add-on devices, such as transparent cap, Endocuff, Endocuff Vision, Endorings; and wide-angle colonoscopes (full spectrum endocopy - FUSE).     Modified mode of fujinon intelligent color enhancement (FICE) in the diagnosis of colon lesions

    The study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of standard and modified settings of the spectral color allocation technology in the differential diagnosis of the colon morphological type of epithelial formations. Materials and methods: video colonoscopy using standard and modified mode of technology. A total of 746 patients were selected for spectral colour selection, of whom 80 were selected. There were 36 men, 44 women. The average age of the patients was 60 Β± 9 years. There were 171 epithelial fomations, of which 106 (61.9%) were located in the left side of the large intestine: in the rectum - 33 (31.2%), in sigmoid - 52 (49%), in descending part - 21 (19.8%). In the right parts of the colon there were significant lower number of formations - 65 (38.1%): ascending intestine - 26 (40%), transversely - colon - 32 (49.2%), cecum - 7 (10.8%). Endoscopic studies were performed according to standard method using video colonoscopes from Fujinon, EC-590ZW / L, EC-530WL. Results: statistically revealed that the probability of determining the correct morphological type of epithelium is formation is 6 times higher when using the modified spectral color technology highlight compared to standard technology settings. Conclusion: the modified settings of the technology of spectral color highlighting allow much more accurative performance an optical biopsy of epithelial colon formations.     Outlooks of photodynamic therapy for the treatment of cervical diseases in routine clinical practice

    Cervical cancer is one of the most common malignancies. Despite the existence of well-developed classical approaches to prevention, diagnosis, and treatment, cervical cancer demonstrates one of the highest incidence and mortality rates among female cancers. Cervical diseases are widespread, can develop at any age, and often preceded cancer development. Photodynamic therapy (PDT) is a new and unique treatment for cancer and a number of non-malignant diseases, which is based on systemic or topical administration of photosensitizers, followed by laser exposure. We analyzed foreign and Russian articles published between 2004 and 2018 evaluating the efficacy of PDT in patients with precancerous diseases and early cervical cancer. PDT is a highly effective treatment method, which causes no complications and can eliminate human papilloma virus. We assessed potential outlooks of wide clinical use of PDT.
