Usually, when the practical motion planning and the shortest path are discoursed, mainly the limited number of tasks is observed. Almost all the tasks associated with the path from one point in 2D or 3D space to another point can be attributed to the usual issue in the practical application. Motion planning and the shortest path have vivid and indisputable importance as human activity in such areas as logistics and robotics. In our work we would like to draw particular attention to the field of application seems to be unnoticeable for the task such as motion planning and the shortest path problem. Due to quite simple examples used, we would like to show that the task of motion planning can be used for simulation and optimization of multi-staged and restricted processes which are presented in chemical engineering accordingly. In the article the simulation and optimization of three important chemical-technological processes for the chemical industry are discussed. The work done gave us the possibility to work out software for simulation and optimization of processes that in some cases facilitates and simplifies the work of professionals engaged in the field of chemical engineering

Binding between the neural cell adhesion molecules axonin-1 and Nr- CAM/Bravo is involved in neuron-glia interaction

Neural cell adhesion molecules of the immunoglobulin superfamily mediate cellular interactions via homophilic binding to identical molecules and heterophilic binding to other family members or structurally unrelated cell-surface glycoproteins. Here we report on an interaction between axonin-1 and Nr-CAM/Bravo. In search for novel ligands of axonin-1, fluorescent polystyrene microspheres conjugated with axonin-1 were found to bind to peripheral glial cells from dorsal root ganglia. By antibody blockage experiments an axonin-1 receptor on the glial cells was identified as Nr-CAM. The specificity of the interaction was confirmed with binding studies using purified axonin-1 and Nr-CAM. In cultures of dissociated dorsal root ganglia antibodies against axonin-1 and Nr-CAM perturbed the formation of contacts between neurites and peripheral glial cells. Together, these results implicate a binding between axonin-1 of the neuritic and Nr-CAM of the glial cell membrane in the early phase of axon ensheathment in the peripheral nervous system

The surface charge of biomaterials significantly contributes to such processes as protein adsorption or biofilm formation and consequently osseointegration bone tissue and implant. There are a set of methods to create a charge on dielectric biomaterials surface. One of the perspective methods of materials electrization is an introduction of the nanoparticles with appropriate biomedical properties into biomaterial. Boehmite AlO(OH) nanoparticles is perspective for the biomaterials surface modification due to its high surface area and positive charge. In this work, the investigations of microarc calcium phosphate biocoatings modified by boehmite nanoparticles on the Ti substrate were presented. A variation of the nanoparticles deposition parameters allowed producing calcium phosphate coatings with different morphology and boehmite nanoparticles size distribution. The investigations of the modified coatings by the transmission and scanning electron microscopy methods are presented in the work
