A voz empodera : um estudo de campo sobre o Slam das Minas - POA

Este trabalho tem por objetivo entender as percepções que as slammers atribuem às suas experiências de participação no Slam das Minas de Porto Alegre, campeonato de poesia que acontece no Brasil, em relação ao empoderamento. Considerando a desigualdade enfrentada por mulheres e o silenciamento dessas vozes, busca-se ouvir o que elas têm a dizer e compartilhar com os presentes no encontro. Deste modo, elaboramos o problema de pesquisa: como as mulheres participantes do Slam das Minas – POA entendem suas vivências nesse espaço? Como objetivo geral pretende- se compreender de que maneira as participantes entendem suas vivências no evento. Para isto, através dos objetivos específicos busca-se a partir do olhar das competidoras, apreender de que forma a sua participação no coletivo e suas próprias vivências constituem-se como elemento empoderador, apresentar as trocas comunicativas e relações estabelecidas entre as slammers e público, descrever de que modo elas produzem narrativas a partir das poesias declamadas, examinar os elementos de representação de si presentes nas performances além de discutir qual a relação da participação no coletivo com o empoderamento. Para abordar os conceitos pertinentes à proposta de investigação, foram acionados, como aportes teóricos, autoras e autores como França (2016), Wolton (2010), Joice Berth (2018), Djamila Ribeiro (2017), Holanda (2018), Judith Butler (2003), Júlia Araújo (2018), Douglas Freitas (2017), Joan Scott (1995), Ann Oakley (2016), entre outros. No processo de pesquisa, foi usada a metodologia qualitativa, por meio da realização de observações simples e sistemáticas e entrevista em profundidade com quatro participantes. O trabalho conclui que a experiência de participar do Slam das Minas– POA, para as slammers, pode ser considerada uma forma de empoderamento, no momento em que é capaz de gerar consciência sobre opressões sofridas e ser um ato que parte do âmbito individual e alcança o coletivo.This work aims to understand the perceptions that the slammers attribute to their experiences of participating in the Slam of the Mines of Porto Alegre, the poetry championship that happens in Brazil, in relation to empowerment. It is intended to understand how the participants understand their experiences in the event. To do this, through the specific objectives, it is sought from the perspective of the competitors, to understand how their participation in the collective and their own experiences constitute as an empowering element, to present the communicative exchanges and relations established between the slammers and the public, to describe how they produce narratives from recited poetry, to examine the elements of self representation present in the performances, and to discuss the relationship between participation in the collective and empowerment. In order to approach the concepts pertinent to the research proposal, authors such as France (2016), Wolton (2010), Joice Berth (2018), Djamila Ribeiro (2017), The Netherlands (2018), Judith Butler (2003), Júlia Araújo (2018), Douglas Freitas (2017), Joan Scott (1995), Ann Oakley (2016), among others. In the research process, the qualitative methodology was used, through simple and systematic observations and in-depth interviews with four participants. The work concludes that the experience of participating in the Slam of the Mines - POA, for the slammers, can be considered a form of empowerment, at the moment in which it is able to generate awareness on oppressions suffered and to be an act that departs from the individual scope and reaches the collective
