Horizon formation and far-from-equilibrium isotropization in supersymmetric Yang-Mills plasma

Using gauge/gravity duality, we study the creation and evolution of anisotropic, homogeneous strongly coupled $\mathcal N=4$ supersymmetric Yang-Mills plasma.
