Exact Master Equation and Quantum Decoherence of Two Coupled Harmonic Oscillators in a General Environment
In this paper we derive an exact master equation for two coupled quantum
harmonic oscillators interacting via bilinear coupling with a common
environment at arbitrary temperature made up of many harmonic oscillators with
a general spectral density function. We first show a simple derivation based on
the observation that the two-harmonic oscillator model can be effectively
mapped into that of a single harmonic oscillator in a general environment plus
a free harmonic oscillator. Since the exact one harmonic oscillator master
equation is available [Hu, Paz and Zhang, Phys. Rev. D \textbf{45}, 2843
(1992)], the exact master equation with all its coefficients for this two
harmonic oscillator model can be easily deduced from the known results of the
single harmonic oscillator case. In the second part we give an influence
functional treatment of this model and provide explicit expressions for the
evolutionary operator of the reduced density matrix which are useful for the
study of decoherence and disentanglement issues. We show three applications of
this master equation: on the decoherence and disentanglement of two harmonic
oscillators due to their interaction with a common environment under Markovian
approximation, and a derivation of the uncertainty principle at finite
temperature for a composite object, modeled by two interacting harmonic
oscillators. The exact master equation for two, and its generalization to ,
harmonic oscillators interacting with a general environment are expected to be
useful for the analysis of quantum coherence, entanglement, fluctuations and
dissipation of mesoscopic objects towards the construction of a theoretical
framework for macroscopic quantum phenomena.Comment: 35 pages, revtex, no figures, 2nd version, references added, to

Decay Constants of Pseudoscalar -mesons in Lattice QCD with Domain-Wall Fermion
We present the first study of the masses and decay constants of the
pseudoscalar mesons in two flavors lattice QCD with domain-wall fermion.
The gauge ensembles are generated on the lattice with the
extent in the fifth dimension, and the plaquette gauge action at , for three sea-quark masses with corresponding pion masses in
the range MeV. We compute the point-to-point quark propagators, and
measure the time-correlation functions of the pseudoscalar and vector mesons.
The inverse lattice spacing is determined by the Wilson flow, while the strange
and the charm quark masses by the masses of the vector mesons
and respectively. Using heavy meson chiral perturbation theory
(HMChPT) to extrapolate to the physical pion mass, we obtain MeV and MeV.Comment: 15 pages, 3 figures. v2: the statistics of ensemble (A) with m_sea =

A mammalian Wnt5a-Ror2-Vangl2 axis controls the cytoskeleton and confers cellular properties required for alveologenesis.
Alveolar formation increases the surface area for gas-exchange and is key to the physiological function of the lung. Alveolar epithelial cells, myofibroblasts and endothelial cells undergo coordinated morphogenesis to generate epithelial folds (secondary septa) to form alveoli. A mechanistic understanding of alveologenesis remains incomplete. We found that the planar cell polarity (PCP) pathway is required in alveolar epithelial cells and myofibroblasts for alveologenesis in mammals. Our studies uncovered a Wnt5a-Ror2-Vangl2 cascade that endows cellular properties and novel mechanisms of alveologenesis. This includes PDGF secretion from alveolar type I and type II cells, cell shape changes of type I cells and migration of myofibroblasts. All these cellular properties are conferred by changes in the cytoskeleton and represent a new facet of PCP function. These results extend our current model of PCP signaling from polarizing a field of epithelial cells to conferring new properties at subcellular levels to regulate collective cell behavior
Effect of different a-InGaZnO TFTs channel thickness upon self-heating stress
In this work, Indium-Galium-Zinc-Oxide Thin Film Transistors (IGZO TFTs) with different channel thickness has been compared after self-heating stress (SHS). In previous literatures, self-heating of TFTs has been widely discussed and Joule Heat caused during driving TFTs has been compared with different channel length and width [1]. However, different channel thickness hasn’t been investigated. Although TFTs with a larger channel thickness possess a greater drain current, a less degradation is observed when comparing with small channel thickness structures, demonstrated in Figure 1(a). The ΔVt shift in the transfer characteristics are well described by the stretched-exponential equation. The Eτ value, which is the average effective barrier height for electron transport, is extracted in Figure (b). Results has shown that in the thick IGZO TFTs, the value is almost twice of that in the thin IGZO TFTs. From COMSOL simulations demonstrated in Figure 1(c), in could be noticed that different channel thickness effects the electrical field locating at the gate insulator. Therefore, a model is proposed to explain the degradation difference, illustrated in Figure (4).

Effects of Quality of Financial Statements and CEO Turnover
The purpose of this study is to explore the effect of CEO turnover and CFO turnover on earnings management. In addition, Taiwan’s authorities will require listed companies to complete the establishment of audit committee replacing supervisors in 2022. Corporate governance is not an overnight phenomenon. It has been existing from a long time. It is only that the beginning of 21st century when colossal enterprises started to fall, government across globe started giving it due credit. The present paper is an attempt to trace the history of corporate governance. It starts with discussing various theories which led to the development of such an important concept and then dwells on various models in which economies employ corporate governance in their structure and finally the evolution of corporate governance across globe. The paper sheds light on important committees and reforms which have been the genesis of corporate governance across globe. It undertakes an extensive literature review on different aspects of corporate governance. Corporate governance is a concept which still debatable among experts in describing it. The purpose of this study is to explore how the implementation and principal problems of good corporate governance in the management of current limited liability company
High Altitude Pulmonary Edema in a Patient with Previous Pneumonectomy
High altitude pulmonary edema (HAPE) is a life-threatening illness that can occur in individuals ascending to altitudes exceeding 2400 m. The risk factors are rapid ascent, physical exertion and a previous history of HAPE. This work presents a case study of a 74-year-old man who underwent left side pneumonectomy 40 years ago and subsequently experienced several instances of HAPE. The well-known risk factors for HAPE were excluded in this patient. We suspect that the post-pneumonectomy condition may be a risk factor for HAPE based on this case.
