Low-lying isovector monopole resonances

The mass difference between the even-even isobaric nuclei having the valence nucleons on the same degenerate level is attributed to a Josephson-type interaction between pairs of protons and pairs of neutrons. This interaction can be understood as an isospin symmetry-breaking mean field for a four-particle interaction separable in the two particles-two holes channel. The strength of this mean field is estimated within an o(5) algebraic model, by using the experimental value of the inertial parameter for the collective isorotation induced by the breaking of the isospin symmetry. STUDY ON PROJECTS CONTRACTED BY ROP - AXIS 2 PRIORITY - IMPROVING REGIONAL TRANSPORT INFRASTRUCTURE AND LOCAL

This axis priority is to increase the main purpose of accessibility regions, the population mobility, goods and services to stimulate sustainable economic. Investment in transport infrastructure to facilitate mobility of people and goods, reducing the costs of transport of goods and passengers, improving access to the regional markets, increase the efficiency of economic activities, energy saving and time, creating conditions for expanding trade and implicitly productive investment. Developing transport networks will facilitate the cooperation interregional and will contribute significantly to increase competitiveness of enterprises/firms and the labour mobility, and, therefore, a development faster to Romania on the whole, but also of each region. The development of urban transport network will take into account the existing structure of public transportation to ensure where possible, improve the infrastructure of roads, which will contribute to use in a more efficient way of public transportation. Rehabilitation and upgrading urban streets, and construction, rehabilitation and upgrading of roads to his belt (the status of county Road) will contribute to urban improve traffic, cut on the time of transport, road and face elimination in their localities crossing safely

Fetal Central Nervous System Abnormalities

Central nervous system (CNS) is one of the most frequent sites for prenatal diagnosed congenital abnormalities (10 per 1000 live births, much higher than the heart—eight per 1000, kidneys—four per 1000, and other fetal systems). Due to the evolving pattern, ultrasound screening for fetal brain malformations is usually performed at 19–22 weeks’ gestation, but severe congenital anomalies can be diagnosed much earlier. This chapter is a short review, structured in eight subchapters: the first one is dedicated to the normal ultrasound aspect of different CNS segments, and the following ones are to detect pathology in prenatal life. We used many ultrasound images and tried to correlate the prenatal findings with the ones obtained postpartum/postabortum for each case, by means of pathology/imaging techniques

New results for the missing quantum numbers labeling the quadrupole and octupole boson basis

The many $2^k$-pole boson states, $|N_kv_k\alpha_k I_kM_k>$ with $k=2,3$, realize the irreducible representation (IR) for the group reduction chains $SU(2k+1)\supset R_{2k+1}\supset R_3\supset R_2$. They have been analytically studied and widely used for the description of nuclear systems. However, no analytical expression for the degeneracy $d_v(I)$ of the $R_{2k+1}$'s IR, determined by the reduction $R_{2k+1}\supset R_3$, is available. Thus, the number of distinct values taken by $\alpha_k$ has been so far obtained by solving some complex equations. Here we derive analytical expressions for the degeneracy $d_v(I)$ characterizing the octupole and quadrupole boson states, respectively. The merit of this work consists of the fact that it completes the analytical expressions for the $2^k$-pole boson basis.Comment: 10page

A remark on Berezin's quantization and cut locus

The consequences for Berezin's quantization on symmetric spaces of the identity of the set of coherent vectors orthogonal to a fixed one with the cut locus are stated precisely.
