The β and p-value are for the physical function measure, while the R² is for the overall model. The final scatterplot shows the association between change in physical function and NAWM volume (the only significant association with change in physical function), and for clarity of illustration, extreme outliers were removed; the inclusion/exclusion of outliers did not alter the regression results.
