Web-Based Training Methods for Behavioral Health Providers: A Systematic Review

    Get PDF
There has been an increase in the use of web-based training methods to train behavioral health providers in evidence-based practices. This systematic review focuses solely on the efficacy of web-based training methods for training behavioral health providers. A literature search yielded 45 articles meeting inclusion criteria. Results indicated that the serial instruction training method was the most commonly studied web-based training method. While the current review has several notable limitations, findings indicate that participating in a web-based training may result in greater post-training knowledge and skill, in comparison to baseline scores. Implications and recommendations for future research on web-based training methods are discussed

How much charm can PANDA produce?

We consider the production of charmed baryons and mesons in the proton-antiproton binary reactions at the energies of the future Pˉ\bar{P}ANDA experiment. To describe these processes in terms of hadronic interaction models, one needs strong couplings of the initial nucleons with the intermediate and final charmed hadrons. Similar couplings enter the models of binary reactions with strange hadrons. For both charmed and strange hadrons we employ the strong couplings and their ratios calculated from QCD light-cone sum rules. In this method finite masses of cc and ss quarks are taken into account. Employing the Kaidalov's quark-gluon string model with Regge poles and adjusting the normalization of the amplitudes in this model to the calculated strong couplings, we estimate the production cross section of charmed hadrons. For ppˉΛcΛˉcp\bar{p}\to \Lambda_c\bar{\Lambda}_c it can reach several tens of nbnb at plab=15GeVp_{lab}= 15 {GeV}, whereas the cross sections of Σc\Sigma_c and DD pair production are predicted to be smaller.Comment: 22 pages, 6 figures, matches published versio

Search for the scalar a0a_0 and f0f_0 mesons in the reactions e+eγπ0π0(η)e^+e^-\to\gamma\pi^0\pi^0(\eta)

It is shown that the reactions e+eγπ0π0(η)e^+e^-\to\gamma\pi^0\pi^0(\eta) give a good chance for observing scalar a0a_0 and f0f_0 mesons. In the photon energy region less then 100 MeV the vector meson contributions e+eV0π0V0γπ0π0(η)e^+e^-\to V^0\to\pi^0 V'^0\to\gamma\pi^0\pi^0(\eta) are negligible in comparison with the scalar mesons e+eϕγf0(a0)γπ0π0(η)e^+e^-\to\phi\to\gamma f_0(a_0)\to\gamma\pi^0\pi^0(\eta) for BR(ϕγf0(a0)γπ0π0(η))BR(\phi\to\gamma f_0(a_0)\to\gamma\pi^0\pi^0(\eta)) greater than 5106(105)5\cdot10^{-6}(10^{-5}). Using two-channel treatment of the ππ\pi\pi scattering the predictions for BR(ϕγ(f0+σ)γππ)BR(\phi\to\gamma (f_0+\sigma)\to\gamma\pi\pi) are derived. The four quark model, the model of KKˉK\bar K molecule and thessˉs\bar s model of scalar f0f_0 and a0a_0 mesons are discussed.Comment: 31 pages, 10 ps files of figures, minor numerical changes, Appendix corrected, to be published in Phys.Rev.

Measurement of the lifetime of hadrons containing the b-quark

Data collected with the High Resolution Spectrometer at PEP, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 200 pb-1 of e+e- annihilation at 29 GeV, were used to measure the mean lifetime of hadrons containing the bottom quark. The lifetime was determined using the impact parameter method on events containing a high-transverse-momentum electron. The result, based on a sample of 301 events, is [tau]B = 1.02 +/-0.390.42 ps, where the indicated errors include both statistics and systematics.Peer Reviewedhttp://deepblue.lib.umich.edu/bitstream/2027.42/26581/1/0000120.pd
