Differential Cross Section of DP-Elastic Scattering at Intermediate Energies
The deuteron-proton elastic scattering is studied in the multiple scattering
expansion formalism. The contributions of the one-nucleon-exchange, single- and
double scattering are taken into account. The Love and Franey parameterization
of the nucleon-nucleon -matrix is used, that gives an opportunity to include
the off-energy-shell effects into calculations. Differential cross sections are
considered at four energies, MeV. The obtained
results are compared with the experimental data
NN INELASTIC CHANNELS - EXPERIMENTAL REVIEW
A wealth of polarization data has been accumulated for the inelastic nucleon-nucleon channels during the last decade. Due to them a detailed comparison with several theoretical approaches to the πNN system became possible. There is qualitative agreement with most of the data, but there are still many open questions, like the origin of the spin triplet problem. There has also been great progress in partial wave analyses. On the basis of those one must conclude that the resonance like structures in the NN1D2 and 3F3 partial waves are not true resonances but threshold effects, due to the opening up of the NƊ channel. Interesting results have been obtained for the short range NƊ interaction. A strong threshold attraction is observed in the 5S2NƊ state. It appears that we have come considerably closer to an understanding of the πNN system
