    Get PDF
Media have a tendency to shape youth’s opinion on politics and election. The exposure of youth to media is more likely to change their opinions towards political issues that are widely covered in the media. This paper discusses media usage patterns among youth in Malaysia and their particpation in politics and election. A study using focus groups with Malaysian youth was carried out in June 2015. The purpose of the study was to examine how media influence perception of youth in Malaysia in relation to politics and election. Using purposive sampling, the study employed focus group to examine how and why youth use media to understand about politics and election. Findings indicated that youth mostly rely on new rather than traditional media to get updated with political news. Facebook and whatsapp are among the two channels that they mainly utilised to gain information about politics

Cube Polygon: A New Modified Euler Method to Improve Electric Circuit Efficiency

Euler method is a numerical order process for solving problems with the Ordinary Differential Equation (ODE). It is a fast and easy way. While Euler offers a simple procedure for solving ODEs, problems such as complexity, processing time and accuracy have driven others to use more sophisticated methods. Improvements to the Euler method have attracted much attention resulting in numerous modified Euler methods. This paper proposes Cube Polygon, a modified Euler method with improved accuracy and complexity. In order to demonstrate the accuracy and easy implementation of the proposed method, several examples are presented. Cube Polygon’s performance was compared to Polygon’s scheme and evaluated against exact solutions using SCILAB. Results indicate that not only Cube Polygon has produced solutions that are close to identical solutions for small step sizes, but also for higher step sizes, thus generating more accurate results and decrease complexity. Also known in this paper is the general of the RL circuit due to the ODE problem

Many countries have taken the initiative to lockdown their country to control the Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) outbreak. The knowledge, attitudes and practice (KAP) on COVID-19 plays a vital role to decide whether this lockdown movement was effective. A total of 37 students participated in a survey to see how far the student's awareness about KAP towards COVID-19 was conducted online between July, 7th until 12th, 2020. The questionnaire included demographic characteristics consist of eighteen items knowledge A, eight items knowledge B, fifteen items on attitude and twelve items on practices. Data collection conducted using the quantitative method from the online survey. The results indicate that students in Sabah have strong knowledge of COVID-19 and a manageable solution to resolving the pandemic
