ANALISIS KUALITAS PERTUMBUHAN EKONOMI DI PROVINSI SULAWESI SELATAN

Economic growth quality become one of benchmarks for the community to judge governments performance in solving social problems. The aims of this research are to analyze the quality of economic growth and to find out how to overcome the social problems caused by high economic growth in South Sulawesi Province. This research use the Poverty-Equivalent Growth Rate method and employment absorption elasticity analyze method and also use secondary data from 2007-2017. The results of this research are during the research period, South Sulawesi Province tend not to have quality of economi growth. The sectors which should have high employment absorption, evidently have low employment absorption elasticity. This causes the economic growth quality still hard to achieve for South Sulawesi Province’s government. Keywords : Economic growth’s quality, poverty, unemployment, inequality in income distributio
