    Strategi Kepemimpinan Kepala Sekolah, Guru, Orang Tua, dan Masyarakat dalam Membentuk Karakter Siswa

    : This study was aimed to analyze the strategies of the school principals, teachers, parents, and communitiesinbuilding the student character in elementary schools. This study used the qualitative approach using the case study type. The research instrumentswere researhers themselves. The data were collected using the in-depth interview, participation observation, and documentation. The respondents were selected using the snowball sampling technique. The data were analyzed using the model developed by Creswell (2014). The verification of the data was done through credibility, transferability, dependability, and confirmability criteria. The findings showed that the strategies of the school principals in building the students' character were the philosophy of leadership, modelling, discipline, instructional leadership, quality leadership, and teacher and staff empowerment. The strategies of the teachers were modelling, habituation, and through touching the heart. The strategies of the parents and communities were effective communication and partnership

    Diplomasi Indonesia dalam Mendukung Palestina Menjadi Negara Peninjua di Pbb Tahun 2012

    This research aims to describe the efforts of Indonesia to support Palestinian struggle to increase its status in the United Nation. After failed to become a UN member states in 2012, Palestine seeked non-member observer state status for Palestine on the basis of Palestines pre-1967 borders 29 November 2012. Indonesia as a UN member state and also has a close relation with Palestine was played a role in supporting it. Authors applied multilateral diplomacy from G. R. Berridge and Sumaryo Suryokusumo to describe Indonesian government diplomacy toward another UN mamber states in the United Nations General Assembly proses. Authors also used multitrack diplomacy from Dr. Luoise Diamond and John McDonald to describe another Indonesian efforts to support Palestine independecy. This reseacrh shows that Indonesia played a significant role in supporting Palestine to collect internasional recognation to its independecy. Throughout multilateral diplomacy proses in the United Nations General Assembly, Indonesian governtment took all the possible role to support Palestine application to become a non-member observer state, by became a co-sponsor for the application, came to the assembly, gave supporting speech at the debate session and vote to support the application. In another way Indonesian people have done many kinds off support for Palestine that authors explain by using multitrack diplomacy.     RELATIONSHIP OF TRANSFORMATIONAL LEADERS OF PRINCIPAL, TEACHER MOTIVATION, TEACHER ORGANIZATION COMMITMENTS WITH PERFORMANCE OF PRIMARY SCHOOL TEACHERS IN LABUAN AMAS SELATAN, INDONESIA

    The teacher has a very large task and responsibility in the world of education, because the teacher is the spearhead in terms of improving school quality. So that it cannot be denied that teacher performance still needs to be improved. The need for transformational leadership attention is applied, teacher work motivation and organizational commitment that the teacher has. This study aims to determine: (1) a description of the principal's transformational leadership, teacher work motivation, teacher organizational commitment and teacher performance, (2) Analysis of the direct relationship of transformational leadership and teacher work motivation, (3) Analysis of the principal relationship of transformational leadership and teacher organizational commitment, (4) Analysis of the relationship between principals' transformational leadership and teacher performance, (5) Analysis of the direct relationship of work motivation with teacher performance, (6) Analysis of the direct relationship of teacher organizational commitment with teacher performance, (7) Relationship analysis is not directly transformational leadership of principals with teacher performance through teacher work motivation variables, (8) Analysis of indirect relationships of transformational leadership of principals with teacher performance through teacher organizational commitment. This study uses a quantitative approach. The research sample was 178 people. The instruments of data collection are questionnaires that have met the validity and reliability test requirements. Data analysis to test hypotheses using path analysis with multiple regression methods. The results of this study are: (1) Description of the principal's leadership, teacher's work motivation, teacher's organizational commitment is in a high classification, while the teacher's performance is in sufficient classification, (2) there is a direct relationship between transformational leadership and teacher motivation, (3) there is a direct relationship between principals transformational leadership and teacher organizational commitment, (4) there is a direct relationship between principals' transformational leadership and teacher performance, (5) there is a direct relationship between work motivation and teacher performance, (6) there is a direct relationship between teacher organizational commitment and teacher performance (7) there is an indirect relationship of principal transformational leadership with teacher performance through teacher work motivation variables, (8) there is an indirect relationship of principal transformational leadership with teacher performance through teacher organizational commitment.  Article visualizations

    This study aims to describe and analyze in depth the center learning model, family involvement program and parental involvement in schools in the development of early childhood character. The research approach used is qualitative with the type of multi-case study research. The research instrument is the researcher himself. Data collection uses in-depth interview techniques, participatory observation and documentation. Data analysis techniques used in this study are the Miles and Huberman models namely data collection, data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. Data validity testing was used to extend participation, persistence of observation and triangulation. The results of this study are the implementation of learning centers in the development of early childhood characters carried out through four quality playing scaffolding, namely the playing environment, footing before playing, footing when playing and footing after playing. Family involvement programs in schools are carried out through activities such as inspirational classes (parents as resource persons), formation of school committees, family days, parent clubs, involving parents in learning activities, tour work with parents, mother and mother club classes, consultation days parents, invite speakers from early childhood education experts and carry out parenting activities. Parental involvement in schools in the development of early childhood characters is through building positive communication on a regular basis between teachers, other schools and establishing relationships with other parents to exchange information. Get involved in parenting programs, school commitess, teacher meetings with parents, support child developmen by participating in activities at sentra learning, tourism work, peak themes, religious holidays and national holidays.  Article visualizations

    Teacher performance is the level of success in completing teaching and work called the "level of performance" or level of work. The teacher's performance appears from his responsibilities as a teacher and educator in carrying out the mandate, the profession he embraces, and the moral he has, So that the teacher who has high performance is a teacher who has work productivity equal with standards that are determined and agreed upon in achieving school goals. In achieving high school goals / quality not only the role of the teacher but also the leadership role of principal and teacher motivation  also very influential and dominant in the teacher's performance so that they can achieve goals that have been jointly shared. The research aims to find out: (1) the relationship between transformational leadership and the teacher’s performance of State Elementary School in South Banjarmasin District. (2) Work motivation and the teacher’s performance of Public Elementary School in South Banjarmasin District. (3) Simultaneous relationship between transformational leadership and work motivation with the teacher’s performance of State Elementary School in South Banjarmasin District. The research design uses quantitative research with correlational methods. The subjects of the study were 404 elementary school teachers with the status of civil servants (PNS) totaling 404 teachers. The sampling technique in this study is proportional. As for the number of samples determined using the Slovin formula obtained a sample of 201 teachers. Data collection techniques are questionnaires conducted by distributing written questionnaires containing statements, and answered by respondents. The results showed that: (1) There was a positive relationship between transformational leadership and teacher’s performance. (2) There is a positive relationship between work motivation and teacher’s performance. (3) There is a simultaneous positive relationship between transformational leadership and work motivation with teacher’s performance.  Article visualizations

    This paper aims to describe the ability of children to recognize language aspect (English). This paper employed a qualitative approach with Classroom Action Research (CAR) type in two cycles. Each cycle was carried out in two meetings for children in group B1 at Matahariku Bilingual Kindergarten with a number of 10 students. The data was collected through teacher observation activity, children's activity and the result of children’s ability to recognize the language aspect (English). The result showed that through a combination of Picture and Picture Model, Talking Stick Model, Flashcard Media and Movement and Song Method, it can improve children's ability to recognize language aspect (English). This paper contributes for the teacher as input in combination of method, model, and media to develop aspect of early childhood. Then, for the headmaster which can be used as input in carrying out guidance on teacher to improve the quality of activity in the classroom.  Article visualizations

    Edukasi Musnahkan Gizi Buruk Di Desa Menggala, Kabupaten Lombok Utara, Provinsi Nusa Tenggara Barat (Daerah Tertinggal) Melalui Terapi Merdeka Madu Trigona

    Program pengabdian ini ditujukan untuk memberikan informasi dan menumbuhkan kesadaran masyarakat di Desa Menggala, Kabupaten Lombok Utara, Provinsi Nusa Tenggara Barat akan potensi madu trigona dan pengembangan budidayanya dalam menyelesaikan masalah gizi buruk. Usaha peningkatan kualitas sumber daya manusia dari Desa Menggala terkendala rendahnya kualitas kesehatan penduduk di Desa Menggala, hal ini dapat diketahui dari banyaknya penduduk di Desa Menggala memiliki status gizi buruk. Program pengabdian ini dilakukan untuk memperbaiki status gizi buruk dari masyarakat di Desa Menggala. Usaha peningkatan tersebut dilakukan dengan mengadakan edukasi, diskusi tentang potensi madu trigona dan pengembangan budidayanya dalam menyelesaikan masalah gizi buruk. Tahapan pelaksaanaan kegiatan meliputi observasi awal (1 September 2021) dan edukasi (2 September 2021). Walaupun tidak seluruh anggota masyarakat di Desa Menggala dikumpulkan untuk edukasi dikarenakan mengikuti protokol Covid-19, namun pada pelaksanaannya para keluarga yang memiliki anggota keluarga berstatus gizi buruk dan kader-kader kesehatan desa dapat hadir dan mengikuti kegiatan tersebut, selain itu, antusias dan respon positif dari para peserta tersebut menghasilkan berjalannya dengan baik program pengabdian ini
