    Dalam iklan, selebriti digunakan sebagai juru bicara merek agar cepat melekat di benak konsumen dan mempengaruhi sikap dan perilaku konsumen terhadap produk yang didukung. Rio Haryanto adalah selebriti yang populer sebagai atlet balap mobil. Perusahaan Oppo Indonesia memilih Rio Haryanto sebagai celebrity endorser dalam iklan Oppo F1 selfie expert. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk melihat sikap pemirsa iklan televisi Oppo F1 selfie expert terhadap penggunaaan celebrity endorser Rio Haryanto. Peneliti ingin melihat sikap responden dari komponen kognitif, afektif, dan konatif terhadap masing-masing karakteristik celebrity endorser TEARS dengan pendekatan kuantitatif dan metode survei menggunakan kuesioner. Karakteristik celebrity endorser menurut model TEARS terdiri dari trustworthiness, expertise, attractiveness, respect, similarity. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan sikap netral, karena responden mengetahui dan menyukai karakteristik celebrity endorse Rio Haryanto namun hal tersebut tidak menimbulkan kecenderungan ingin membeli

    . This study examines determinants of cost efficiency of banking operation in ASEAN-5 region which includes Indonesia, Singapura, Malaysia, the Philippines, and Thailand. By using stochastic frontier analysis (SFA) to 23 commercial banks in the region in the period of 2005-2012, empirical results reveal certain significant relationship of cost efficiency with individual bank characteristic (return on equity, ROE). Based on the time-varying decay method, we conclude that there is an increase in cost efficiency during the period of study. This study also shows that in general, Indonesian banking industry was not operating efficiently

    The objective of this research was to investigate the causal factor of inhabitant migration of Toba Bataknese ethnic which come from North Tapanuli (North Sumatera) years 1965-1975 to the East Bandarjaya Terbanggi Besar Subdistrict in Middle Lampung Regency. The method that was used in this research was descriptive method. The population in this research was the whole citizen of East Bandarjaya which come from Toba Bataknese Ethnic who did the migration from North Tapanuli (North Sumatera) years 1965-1975 that was 33 patriarch. The data collecting techniques that were used were interview, documentation, observation, whereas the data analysis technique used analysis technique of qualitative data in the form of percentage. The result of the research showed that there were some causal factors of Toba Bataknese ethnic in doing the migration in years 1965-1975 to the East Bandarjaya , they were, kind of job in the origin area that was 84.85%, the income that was got there was 84.85%, go abroad tradition of Toba Bataknese Ethnic was 93.4%, and relative or friend information was 69.70%. The culture factor that was go abroad tradition became the most influential in this research. Another factor that got the lowest answer was individual factor, it was relative or friend information

    Antifungal Activity of Tegeran Wood (Cudrania javanensis Trécul) Extracts against Fungus Peniophora sp.  ABSTRACTThe fungus Peniophora sp. can degrade natural dyes, causing discoloration on batik cloth. This study was aimed to evaluate the antifungal activity of tegeran wood (Cudrania javanensis) extracts against Peniophora sp. isolated from the aqueous extract of mahogany (Swietenia mahagoni) bark. Aqueous and methanol extraction procedures gave tegeran wood extracts whose concentrations were then varied into 100, 250 and 500 ppm. Phytochemical analysis of the extracts were carried out, and the results showed that the average values of the total polysaccharides and terpenoids of both aqueous and methanol extracts did not differ significantly (p<0.05), whereas those of polyphenols did (p<0.05). The total polyphenols of the methanol extract (484.723 mg GAE/g) was higher than that of the aqueous extract (389.903 mg GAE/g). Results showed that the methanol extract of tegeran wood showed higher antifungal activity against Peniophora sp. than the aqueous extract, and was also higher than ketoconazole control (100 ppm). The minimum inhibitory concentration of the methanol extract against Peniophora sp. growth was of 500 ppm with the antifungal activity value (AFA) of 76.30%.Keywords: antifungal activity, Cudrania javanensis, Peniophora sp., Swietenia mahagoni, wood extract ABSTRAKJamur Peniophora sp. dapat mendegradasi zat warna alam sehingga warna yang dihasilkan pada kain batik lebih pudar. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mempelajari aktivitas anti jamur dari ekstrak kayu tegeran (Cudrania javanensis) terhadap Peniophora sp. yang diisolasi dari ekstrak air kulit mahoni (Swietenia mahagoni). Ekstraksi menggunakan metanol dan air, menghasilkan ekstrak kayu tegeran, yang kemudian konsentrasinya divariasi menjadi 100, 250 dan 500 ppm. Analisis fitokimia ekstrak kayu tegeran dilakukan, dan hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa nilai rata-rata total polisakarida dan terpenoid ekstrak metanol dan air kayu tegeran tidak berbeda nyata (p<0,05). Sedangkan total polifenol kedua ekstrak berbeda nyata (p<0,05). Total polifenol ekstrak metanol kayu tegeran (484,723 mg GAE/g) lebih besar dibandingkan dengan ekstrak air (389,903 mg GAE/g). Hasil menunjukkan bahwa aktivitas anti jamur ekstrak metanol lebih baik dibandingkan dengan ekstrak air kayu tegeran, dan juga lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan kontrol ketoconazole (100 ppm). Konsentrasi minimum ekstrak metanol kayu tegeran yang dapat menghambat pertumbuhan jamur Peniophora sp. adalah 500 ppm dengan nilai penghambatan (AFA) sebesar 76,30%.Kata Kunci: aktivitas anti jamur, Cudrania javanensis, ekstrak kayu, Peniophora sp., Swietenia mahagon

    Sistem Informasi Kalender Tanam Terpadu: Status Terkini Dan Tantangan Kedepan

    . The accuracy in determining time of planting is one of determining factors in securing good harvest and increasing yield of food crop. Local wisdom and other conventional ways applied previously in determining cropping pattern are no longer appropriate because of shifting seasons. As a guideline for extension workers in determining cropping pattern and time of planting, Indonesian Agency for Agricultural Research and Development has published information system of integrated cropping calendar to secure national rice production in coping with climate variability and climate change. This paper aims to describe the development of web-based Information System of Integrated Cropping Calendar at a sub-district level. The system is constructed by integrating three sub-systems, namely sub-system data, model and query and can be accessed through the website address at www.litbang.deptan.go.id. The main information that can be obtained from this system is initial estimate of paddy planting time for the upcoming planting season. In addition, the users can obtain information on disaster prone areas such as droughts, floods and pests attack. Other informations are recommended technology for varieties, seed requirement and fertilizers, that be prepared by users prior to growing season period. Therefore, this system needs to be improved for all sub-districts in Indonesia at least three times a year of the beginning of each growing season. The challenges of developing integrated cropping calendar system for the future are: (1) global warming increases unpredictable weather that impacts on the accuracy of planting time estimate, (2) decreases in productivity and yield production which would require an increasingly technological innovation informations, and (3)land conversion and fragmentation of agricultural land resulting in reduction of paddy field area. Maintenance and development of this system are still needed, to improve the quality of data and information in order to meet the user needs

    The Analysis Of Pragmatic Deixis Realized On Big Hero Movie 6

    This paper attempted to analyze the pragmatic deixis realized in Big Hero movie 6. The objectives of the study aims to investigate the realization of the kinds of pragmatic deixis and the dominant kinds of pragmatics deixis realize in Big Hero movie 6. The data were obtained through the use of content analysis. A descriptive study was employed in analysing the data from the script of the movie.). In this study, the writer addressed two research questions: (1) what are kind of deixis realized in the utterances in Big Hero movie 6? (2) what are kind of dominant deixis used by the characters in Big Hero movie 6? The descriptive statistic of percentage was used to calculate the result of pragmatic deixis realized in Big Hero movie 6. Based on the process of pragmatic deixis, it found that there were five kinds of pragmatics deixis realized in Big Hero Movie 6. They were person deixis, time deixis, place deixis, social deixis, and discourse deixis. After analyzing the data, the dominant kinds of pramatic deixis frequently used in the script of Big Hero movie 6 was second person deixis. It realized 46% of total 10 scenes from total 25 secenes which were analysed. Based on those findings, the writer recommends that this study can be used as one of reference in learning linguistics study and determining the meaning of the context
