The goal of this study is to use a genre-poetical and literary-historical base to analyze the possibility of establishing a specific sub-genre core in The Magic Mountain, which is created through a multicenturies tradition of menippean satire and the carnivalization of literature on the one hand, and modernism on the other. From the thematic-motive and semantic context in this novel, one can delineate the crucial question of identity (hero, society, the work itself), so that this new genre sub-group of carnivalized modernistic literature, represented by the novel The Magic Mountain, can be characterized as carnival-identity literature, or rather, it will be shown in this work that carnivalization in modern literature is closely linked with the question of identity formation.Π¦ΠΈΡ ΡΠ°Π΄Π° ΡΠ΅ Π΄Π° Π½Π° ΠΆΠ°Π½ΡΠΎΠ²ΡΠΊΠΎ-ΠΏΠΎΠ΅ΡΠΈΡΠΊΠΎΡ ΠΈ ΠΊΡΠΈΠΆΠ΅Π²Π½ΠΎΠΈΡΡΠΎΡΠΈΡΡΠΊΠΎΡ ΠΎΡΠ½ΠΎΠ²ΠΈ ΠΈΡΡΡΠ°ΠΆΠΈ ΠΌΠΎΠ³ΡΡΠ½ΠΎΡΡΠΈ ΡΡΠΏΠΎΡΡΠ°Π²ΡΠ°ΡΠ° ΡΠ΅Π΄Π½ΠΎΠ³ ΡΠΏΠ΅ΡΠΈΡΠΈΡΠ½ΠΎΠ³ ΠΏΠΎΠ΄ΠΆΠ°Π½ΡΠΎΠ²ΡΠΊΠΎΠ³ ΡΠ΅Π·Π³ΡΠ° Ρ Π§Π°ΡΠΎΠ±Π½ΠΎΠΌ Π±ΡΠ΅Π³Ρ ΠΊΠΎΡΠ΅ ΡΠ΅, Ρ ΡΠ΅Π΄Π½Π΅ ΡΡΡΠ°Π½Π΅, ΡΠ΅ΠΌΠ΅ΡΠΈ Π½Π° Π²ΠΈΡΠ΅Π²Π΅ΠΊΠΎΠ²Π½ΠΎΡ ΡΡΠ°Π΄ΠΈΡΠΈΡΠΈ ΠΌΠ΅Π½ΠΈΠΏΡΠΊΠ΅ ΡΠ°ΡΠΈΡΠ΅ ΠΈ ΠΊΠ°ΡΠ½Π΅Π²Π°Π»ΠΈΠ·ΠΎΠ²Π°Π½Π΅ ΠΊΡΠΈΠΆΠ΅Π²Π½ΠΎΡΡΠΈ Π°, Ρ Π΄ΡΡΠ³Π΅, Π½Π° ΡΠ΅ΠΊΠΎΠ²ΠΈΠ½Π°ΠΌΠ° ΠΌΠΎΠ΄Π΅ΡΠ½ΠΈΠ·ΠΌΠ°. Drosophila mutants in the 55 kDa regulatory subunit of protein phosphatase 2A show strongly reduced ability to dephosphorylate substrates of p34^(cdc2)
The 55 kDa regulatory subunit of Drosophila protein phosphatase 2A is located in the cytoplasm at all cell cycle stages, by the criterion of immunofluorescence. We are unable to detect significant change in protein phosphatase activity during the nuclear division cycle of syncytial embryos. However, cell cycle function of the enzyme is suggested by the mitotic defects exhibited by two Drosophila mutants, aarΒΉ and twins^P, defective in the gene encoding the 55 kDa subunit. The reduced levels of the 55 kDa subunit correlate with the loss of protein phosphatase 2A-like, okadaic acid-sensitive phosphatase activity of brain extracts against caldesmon and histone H1 phosphorylated by p34^(cdc2)/cyclin B kinase, but not against phosphorylase a. Thus the mitotic defects of aarΒΉ and twins^P are likely to result from the lack of dephosphorylation of specific substrates by protein phosphatase 2A

The Influence of Different SARS-CoV-2 Strains on Changes in Maximal Oxygen Consumption, Ventilatory Efficiency and Oxygen Pulse of Elite Athletes
Purpose: The aim of this study was to evaluate the influence of different SARS-CoV-2 strains on the functional capacity of athletes. Methods: In total, 220 athletes underwent cardiopulmonary exercise testing (CPET) after coronavirus infection and before returning to sports activities. Eighty-eight athletes were infected by the Wuhan virus, and 66 were infected during the Delta and Omicron strain periods of the pandemic. Results: The CPET results showed significantly decreased maximal oxygen consumption, ventilatory efficiency, and oxygen pulse in athletes who were infected with Wuhan and Delta strains compared to athletes who suffered from Omicron virus infection. An early transition from aerobic to anaerobic metabolic pathways for energy production was observed in the Wuhan and Delta groups but not in athletes who were infected with the Omicron strain. There were no differences in the obtained results when Wuhan and Delta virus variants were compared. Conclusion: These results suggest that the Wuhan and Delta virus strains had a significantly greater negative impact on the functional abilities of athletes compared to the Omicron virus variant, especially in terms of aerobic capacity and cardiorespiratory function
Ascites as First Atypical and Only Clinical Manifestation of De Novo Follicular Lymphoma
Follicular lymphoma is the most common indolent non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma and is usually initially detected in lymph nodes. Primary extranodal NHL is most commonly primarily localized in the gastrointestinal tract. We present one unusual case of ileum FL with ascites as the first clinical sign. The 73-year-old female patient was presented to the emergency department for evaluation of mild abdominal pain and abdominal swelling that had been going on for three days followed by bloating and occasional pain in the spine. The abdominal contrast-enhanced CT revealed the contrast stagnation in the distal part of the ileum. The ileum wall about 11 cm in length was thickened up to 2.9 cm and the tumor mass infiltrated all layers of ileum mesenteric lymphadenopathy up to 2 cm in diameter and significant ascites. On the upper ileum wall, the vegetative mass was described 3 cm in diameter. The patient had an emergent laparotomy with the ileocolic resection and latero-lateral ileocolic anastomosis. The microscopy finding of terminal ileum and the regional lymph nodes showed domination of cleaved cells with irregular nuclei which correspond to centrocytes. There were 0–15 large non-cleaved cells corresponding to centroblast in the microscopy high-power field. The final diagnosis was follicular lymphoma, the clinical stage 2E and histological grade by Berard and Mann criteria 1–2
