As research methods, we used analysis and generalization of the data from scientific-methodological and specialized literature, pedagogical observation of training and competitive activities and analysis of work plans, and the methods of mathematical statistics. The results of the research showed that the growth of skills of young volleyball players is largely connected with the increase in the level of special endurance. The special endurance of young volleyball players is characterized by a complex of major special physical qualities and functional capabilities that are necessary for performing technical and tactical actions in the process of training and competitions with high efficiency and economy. A complex assessment of special endurance consists of the indicators of jumping, speed and gaming endurance. The speed and strength qualities and jumping endurance of young volleyball players reliably increase from 13 to 16 years. In 17-18 years, these changes in young volleyball players are questionable

Symptoms of culture shock and phases of cultural adjustment process are highlighted in the present article on the bases of K.Oberg methodology. According to U-curve cultural adjustment model proposed by Lysgaard S., the adapting person overcomes three main phases: initial adjustment, crisis state, and final adjustment. The analysis of the conducted survey has confirmed that adjustment to a new culture takes place according to the U-curve by Lysgaard. Determination of ways to solve the problem of foreign students' adjustment to study in Russian universities is associated by the author with the identification of sociocultural characteristics of a specific country. With every increasing frequency the information emerges about the establishing of new schools offering formal theological education. The article describes the post-secular situation in the Russian society, which today has led consistently to the actualization of the issue of legitimization of Theology in the Russian secular higher education. The article analyses the viewpoints expressed in the panel discussion on Theology in higher education, which was attended by experts on concerned problem. The results of the panel discussion have shown that in a post-secular situation, as well as in the presence of Theology in some secular universities, it is necessary to find certain post-secular „middle ways‟, where morality, religious values, and secular freedoms, as well as scientifically grounded virtues will complement each other through Theology
