    Awareness and Use of Benzodiazepines in Healthy Volunteers and Ambulatory Patients Visiting a Tertiary Care Hospital: A Cross Sectional Survey

    Background: Indiscriminate prescription of Benzodiazepines in Pakistan and subsequent availability over-the-counter without prescription is a major public health problem, requiring systematic inquiry through research. Additionally, there is limited data on the awareness and use of Benzodiazepines from developing countries making it impossible to devise meaningful health policies. Methodology/Principal Findings: This was an Observational, Cross-Sectional study. conducted at Aga Khan University. A total of 475 (58.5 % males, 41.5 % females) people visiting a tertiary care hospital were interviewed by means of a structured questionnaire. The results showed that majority of population was aware of one or more Benzodiazepines (80.4%) and 30.4 % had used them at some point in life. 42.4 % of the users had been using it for more than a year. Commonest reason for use was sleep disturbance. Frequency of usage was higher for females, married individuals, educated (.Grade12), high socioeconomic status and housewives. More (59%) were prescribed than not and of them most by GP (58.5%). Only 36.5% of them were particularly told about the long-term addiction potential by the use of these drugs. Conclusion: Easy availability, access to re-fills without prescription and self prescription compounded with the lack of understanding of abuse potential of benzodiazepines constitutes a significant problem demanding serious consideratio

    An Effective Role of a Library in the Development of Faculty and Students: A Case Study of Quaid-i-Azam Library

    A library is not only a collection of material, books, journals and other sources, but it is also responsible to educate its users with modern knowledge. A library plays a vital role in the development of society, faculty and students. It is basic essential to measure the role or development of a university through its libraries. Quaid-i-Azam Library is basically a group of 11 libraries that are working under the flagship of the University of Gujrat, Gujrat, Pakistan. It provides the access to its users of more than 134,000 books, 45,000 e-books, peer-reviewed journals, conference proceedings and articles through 17 different online sources provided by the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan. This research analyzes the role of Quaid-i-Azam Library in the development of faculty and students. It provides the basic information to its user to understand the amazeballs role of this library. Especially, it acmes the role of the library during the COVID-19 pandemic

    Trends of Research Visualization of Digital Collections and Resources in Academic Libraries from 2001 to 2020: A Bibliometric Analysis

    This paper was intended to evaluate electronic collections, digital collections, digital resources, e-books, e-resources using bibliometric exploration from 2001 to 2020. The main purpose is to associate the available scholarship on the electronic and digital collections in the Web of Science indexed documents. There was a lack of computable quantities on the electronic collections. We used the bibliometric analysis and 2002 published documents were found. The results indicated that the top topic of published documents as electronic books or e-books and library, article as a type, English as the top language, top publications in 2016, and Huang YM was the top author. Data analysis also asserted that the top organization was Bar Ilan Univ., Israel, United States as the top country, electronic books were top keyword, and electronic library with 616 citations was as a top source of publication. Further, the results and trends of data were present in the form of tables and figures

    A Research Visualization of Academic Learning Skills among Students in Higher Education Institutions: A Bibliometric Evidence from 1981 to 2020

    This article provides an insight into the academic learning skills acquired by students in higher education institutions across the globe. A bibliometric study was designed to consolidate the published scholarship of the academic learning skills in the Web of Science indexed documents from 1981 to 2020. The data were extracted on March 18, 2021, at 06:54 AM, PST. A total of 964 publications were found using Biblioshiny, ScientoPy, VOSviewer, and MS Excel to extract data and preparation of figures. The study findings asserted that knowledge skill was the top topic, article as a type of documents, and the English language was used as majority published documents. Similarly, the data revealed that the published documents increased in number per year gradually, Al-Adawi S was the top author, Hacettepe Univ., Turkey top organization, United States top country, and education educational was indicated as a top research area of the published documents along with education as the top keyword. The FASEB Journal was reported as the top source of publication and the document of Hattie, J; Biggs, J; Purdie, N as the top by citation.     Trend of Research Visualization of Learning, Classroom, and Class Participation in Higher Education Institutions: A Bibliometric Analysis from 2001 to 2020

    The main objective of this research is to inspect the classroom environment, student learning, interactive learning, class participation, higher education institutions using bibliometric analysis from 2001 to 2020. For the scientometric analysis, we extracted data from the Science Citation Index database, Web of Science (Core Collection) using a searched query. The data was extracted on February 27, 2021 (GMT-4:29 AM). Further, the period was 2001 to 2020. There were 6340 published documents were found. The study findings illustrate that the topic of higher education institutions was on top of the topic list and a major proportion of published documents was an article. The English language was used and the frequency of published documents was gradually increased as per year. The author \u27Lepori B’ was on the top with 13 publications and 205 citations. Further, organization Univ. Colorado and United States country was on top of the top. Furthermore, higher education was the top keyword and computer & education were the top sources of published documents. Likewise, the top funding agency was \u27National Science Foundation NSF\u27.     Trend of Research Visualization of COVID-19 Complications in PubMed Database Using Scientometric Analysis from 2020 to March 20, 2021

    This study focused to evaluate the published articles on PubMed whose focus was to study the different relations between COVID 19, and different complications caused due to it. The main complications that were used to formulate this study are Deep Venous Thrombosis (DVT), Stroke, Pulmonary Embolism, Disseminated Intravascular Coagulation (DIC), Myocardial Infarction (MI), anosmia, and pneumonia. The data was extracted from the PubMed database on March 20, 2021at 03:20 PM, PST with the period of 2020 to March 20, 2021. We used Biblioshiny, VOSviewer, and MS Excel software to analyze data and found 2375 published documents. The results revealed that Pneumonia and COVID-19 was the top topic out of 2375 published documents, journal articles as the top type, and the top year was 2020. Similarly, study findings also asserted that Guaraldi, Giovanni was the top author, China was a top country, COVID-19 top keyword, and Stroke was the top source of published documents. Further, the results were illustrated in tables and figures to show the trend of the published document
