The purpose of this study is to present elements of the knowledge culture of Southeast Kabylie in the 19th and early 20th centuries. The use of writing and the variety of interests covered (identified essentially through manuscripts) are examined through the writings of four generations of a literate local family. A first reading offers a view of a family essentially concerned with transcribing texts, the commentary and summaries of reference texts and legal activities (legal counseling,...), astronomical observation, mathematical applications and astrological practice..

Semantic Annotations for Web Services Discovery and Composition

International audienceThe automatic discovery and composition of Web services rely on the facilities offered by the providers of services in describing the functionalities of their services semantically and on the description of the client's requests and their needs, without being ambiguous. In this paper, we present a model of Semantic Annotations for Web Services Discovery and its Composition. The proposed approach uses an inter-connected network of semantic Web services describing in OWL-S, using the similarity measure (outputs-inputs similarity) between concepts based on ontology, built before any submitted request. In only one exploration, the composition algorithm can find several composition plans. But the selected composition plan must be "the best one " according to the quality criteria (similarity, time and memory space). This technique takes advantages from a graph structure, chaining algorithm of expert system and semantic annotations

International audienceThe microstructure and texture of 7075Ë—T6 FSW weld with optimal parameters were investigated using optical microscopy, electron back scatter diffraction and neutron diffraction. The mechanical properties were also characterized through microhardness, nanoindentation and ultrasonic tests. The friction stir welding was performed at a nominal rotational speed of 1400 rpm and a traverse speed of 60 mm/min. The nugget zone contained fine, equiaxed and fully recrystallized grains. The texture of the base material mainly consisted of Cube and rotated Goss components. However in the nugget zone, the dominant texture components were B and B Ì… among common shear orientations. Elastic modulus was measured by ultrasonic and nanoindentation methods. The ultrasonic one has the main advantageous to be nondestructive, easy, inexpensive and fast. A little increase of Young modulus is observed in nugget zone compared to base metal
