Fuzzy Efficiency Measure with Fuzzy Production Possibility Set

    Get PDF
The existing data envelopment analysis (DEA) models for measuring the relative efficiencies of a set of decision making units (DMUs) using various inputs to produce various outputs are limited to crisp data. The notion of fuzziness has been introduced to deal with imprecise data. Fuzzy DEA models are made more powerful for applications. This paper develops the measure of efficiencies in input oriented of DMUs by envelopment form in fuzzy production possibility set (FPPS) with constant return to scale

    Vague ranking of fuzzy numbers

Abstract In a lot of scientific models in the real world, we confront with comparing fuzzy numbers as decision-making procedures and etc. It will be interest, if we know that, comparison discuss is sometimes ambiguous. Hence, this article focus on ranking fuzzy numbers with protection ambiguity. Our idea for this work is based on this claim that ranking of two fuzzy numbers should be a vague value. However, we utilize the notion of max and min fuzzy simultaneously

A method for solving nonlinear Volterra’s population growth model of noninteger order

Abstract Many numerical methods have been developed for nonlinear fractional integro-differential Volterra’s population model (FVPG). In these methods, to approximate a function on a particular interval, only a restricted number of points have been employed. In this research, we show that it is possible to use the fuzzy transform method (F-transform) to tackle with FVPG. It makes the F-transform preferable to other methods since it can make full use of all points on this interval. We also make a comparison showing that this method is less computational and is more convenient to be utilized for coping with nonlinear integro-differential equation (IDEs), fractional nonlinear integro-differential equation (FIDEs), and fractional ordinary differential equations (FODEs)
