The analysis of the problem of chronic hepatitis C (CHC) in children. The data on the incidence of primary CHC child population on the territory of the Russian Federation and abroad. The problems of diagnosis of HCV-infection. Conducted a review of the risk of infection, highlight the possible routes of transmission are shown peculiarities of HCV-infected children, shows the frequency of chronic process. The state of the problem at the moment and evaluated further promise in the treatment of chronic hepatitis C in children.Β ΠΡΠΎΠ²Π΅Π΄Π΅Π½ Π°Π½Π°Π»ΠΈΠ· ΡΠΎΡΡΠΎΡΠ½ΠΈΡ ΠΏΡΠΎΠ±Π»Π΅ΠΌΡ Ρ

Objective: The present study was aimed at the psychological characteristics of children with different chronic diseases of the digestive system and the identificationΒ of key factors influencing the formation of their personality. Methods: The continuous prospective study of psychological peculiarities of 125 patientsΒ (7β17 y.o.) with diseases of the digestive system who have been monitored at Scientific Centre of Childrenβs Health (Moscow) was performed. As researchΒ methods were used: analysis of medical and pedagogical documentation, participant observation, educational experiment, interview, questionnaires andΒ projective methods. Results: The study involved 125 patients aged 7β17 years (12.4 averagely) with diseases of the digestive system including teens β 68Β (54%), primary school pupil β 57 (46%). The number of boys significantly prevailed over the number of girls (2:1). The study confirmed the existence of aΒ close relationship and mutual influence of three factors: the physical condition, social situation of development, and individual psychological characteristicsΒ of children. According to the psychological characteristics the children can be combined in three groups: Group I (47 of 125 people; 37.6%) β children withΒ bad psychological status. This is most typical for children with active form of chronic diseases requiring intensive medical assistance (37 of 47 people; 78.7%).Β Group II (59 of 125 people; 47.2%) β children with instable psychological condition, with risk of neurotization. This group mainly comprises patients withΒ chronic diseases at the stage of unstable clinical remission with preserved or compensated functions of organism bodies and systems or with incomplete compensationΒ of functions requiring long term supportive treatment (45 of 59 people; 76.3%). Group III β patients with rather stable psychological condition (19Β of 125 people; 15.2%). It comprises patients with rather stable psychological condition, anyway, with expressed psychological vulnerability in stress situation.Β Most children suffer from chronic diseases of different etiology at the stage of clinical remission with rare aggravations, with preserved or compensated functions,Β provided there are no aggravations of the basic disease (17 of 19 people; 89.5%).Conclusion: Most children with diseases of the digestive system have theΒ psychological difficulties, while their identity is often formed in the distorted social conditions. Therefore, these children need psychological and pedagogicalΒ support, as well the special psychological and pedagogical conditions for the realization of their mental and cognitive capacities. To put together a programΒ of psychological and educational assistance we should take into account the childβs age at the moment of occurrence of the disease, etiology, duration andΒ severity of the illness, the nature and degree of non-compliance of social environmental.Π¦Π΅Π»Ρ ΠΈΡΡΠ»Π΅Π΄ΠΎΠ²Π°Π½ΠΈΡ: ΠΈΠ·ΡΡΠΈΡΡ ΠΏΡΠΈΡ

Aim: The purpose of the study was to assess mitochondrial dysfunction severity in patients with hepatic forms of glycogen storage disease (GSD). Patients and methods: We examined 53 children with GSD in the dynamics. Distribution of children by disease types was: 1st group β children with GSD type I, 2nd group β children with GSD type III, 3rd group β children with GSD type VI and IX; comparison group consisted of 34 healthy children. Intracellular dehydrogenases activity: succinate dehydrogenase (SDH), glycerol-3-phosphate-dehydrogenase (GPDH),nicotinamideadenin-Π-dehydrogenase (NADH-D) and lactatdehydrogenase (LDH) was measured using the quantitative cytochemical method in the peripheral lymphocytes. Results: It was revealed decrease of SDH- (Ρ 0.001) and GPDH-activities (Ρ 0.001), along with increase of the NADH-D activity (Ρ 0.05) in all patients with GSD, (SDH / NADH-D) index was decreased (Ρ 0.001). LDH activity was increased in groups 1 (Ρ 0.05) and 3 (p 0.01), compared with comparison group. The most pronounced intracellular enzymes activity deviations were observed in children with GSD type I, that correspond to more severe clinical form of GSD. It was found strong correlation between intracellular enzymes activity and both hepatomegaly level (R =0.867) and metabolic acidosis severity (R =0.987). Conclusion: Our investigation revealed features of mitochondrial dysfunction in children with GSD, depending on the GSD type. Activities of lymphocytes enzymes correlates with the main disease severity parameters and can be used as an additional diagnostic criteria in children with hepatic form of GSD.Π¦Π΅Π»Ρ ΠΈΡΡΠ»Π΅Π΄ΠΎΠ²Π°Π½ΠΈΡ: ΠΎΡΠ΅Π½ΠΈΡΡ Ρ

Relativistic electrons of the outer radiation belt and methods of their forecast (review)
The paper reviews studies of the dynamics of relativistic electrons in the geosynchronous region. It lists the physical processes that lead to the acceleration of electrons filling the outer radiation belt. As one of the space weather factors, high-energy electron fluxes pose a serious threat to the operation of satellite equipment in one of the most populated orbital regions. Necessity is emphasized for efforts to develop methods for forecasting the situation in this part of the magnetosphere, possible predictors are listed, and their classification is given. An example of a predictive model for forecasting relativistic electron flux with a 1β2-day lead time is proposed. Some questions of practical organization of prediction are discussed; the main objectives of short-term, medium-term, and long-term forecasts are listed
Waves from the Sun: to the 100th anniversary of V.A. Troitskayaβs birth
It has been one hundred years since the birth of the outstanding scientist Professor V.A. Troitskaya. Her remarkable achievements in solar-terrestrial physics are widely known. For many years, Valeria A. Troitskaya was the President of the International Association of Geomagnetism and Aeronomy. This article deals with only one aspect of the multifaceted creative activity of V.A. Troitskaya. It relates to the problem of sources of ultra-low frequency (ULF) electromagnetic oscillations and waves outside Earthβs magnetosphere. We were fortunate to work under the leadership of V.A. Troitskaya on this problem. In this paper, we briefly describe the history from the emergence of the idea of the extramagnetospheric origin of dayside permanent ULF oscillations in the late 1960s to the modern quest made by ground and satellite means for ULF waves excited by solar surface oscillations propagating in the interplanetary medium and reaching Earth
