Maternal variables which influences on the weight gain of infant

보건학과/석사[한글] 본 연구는 출생 후 1년이내의 어린이의 체중 증가와 이에 영향을 주는 요인들을 규명해 보고자 시행되었다. 특히 어린이의 체중 증가에 영향을 주는 요인 중 가장 중요하다고 인정되는 어머니들과 관련된 요인들을 분석하였다. 조사대상은 경기도 강화군 내가, 선원, 불은 3개 면에 현재 거주하고 있으며 1979년 1월 1일부터 1981년 3월 31일이내에 정상(질식)분만을 통해 단태아로 출생한 어린이 약 202명을 대상으로 하였다. 조사내용은 모성의 일반적 사항, 임신과 관련된 사항, 임신시 사항, 분만시 사항, 출산 후 육아에 관한 사항 등의 5개의 변수론 크게 분류하였다. 분석은 위의 5개의 내용을 변수군으로 하여 45개의 변수로 나누어 시행하였다. 분석방법은 먼저 위의 45개 변수들 간의 Pearson 상관계수를 계산하여 선정된 변수들로서 단계적중회귀분석(Stepwise Multiple Regression Analysis)을 하여 각 단계별 종속변수에 관한 독립변수들의 설명 정도를 측정하였다. 조사성적을 요약하면 다음과 같다. 1) 출생시 체중에는 출산터울, 임신 중 모성의 건강상태 그리고 모성의 직업 유무 등의 모성요인이 영향을 미치는 변수로 선정되었고 위 3개의 변수로 출생시 체중을 11.2% 설명할 수 있었다. 출산터울이 클수록, 임신 중 모성의 건강상태가 좋을수록 모성이 직업이 없는 경우 출생시 체중이 더 높은 것으로 나타났다. 2) 3개월 때 체중 증가에는 출생시 체중, 재태기간 등의 모성요인이 영향을 미치는 변수로 선정되었고 위 2개의 변수로 3개월 때 체중을 10.3% 설명할 수 있었다. 출생시 체중이 낮을수록 3개월 때 체중이 낮게 나타났으며 재태기간이 정상기간(38주∼ 42주)보다 길수록 3개월 때 체중도 낮게 나타났다. 3) 6개월 때 체중 증가에는 3개월 때의 체중, 모성의 연령 3개월부터 6개월 이내에 설사를 앓은 경험, 분만장소 등의 모성요인이 영향을 미치는 변수로 선정되었고 위 4개의 변수로는 6개월 때 체중을 53.0% 설명할 수 있었다. 3개월 때 체중이 큰 영아일수록 6개월 때 체중도 높게 나타났으며 모성의 연령이 낮을수록, 3개월부터 6개월 이내에 설사를 앓지 않은 경우와 분만장소가 의료기관인 경우 6개월 때 체중은 높게 나타났다. 4) 9개월 때 체중 증가에는 6개월 때 체중과 모성의 인공유산 횟수 등의 모성요인이 영향을 미치는 변수로 선정되었고 위 2개와 변수로는 9개월 때 체중을 38.3% 설명할 수 있었다. 6개월 때 체중이 큰 영아일수록 9개월 때 체중도 크게 나타났으며 인공유산 횟수가 많을수록 9개월 때 체중은 낮게 나타났다. 5) 12개월 때 체중 증가에는 9개월 때의 체중, 6개월 때의 체중, 9개월부터 12개월 이내에 설사를 앓은 경험, 출생시 체중, 모유 수유기간 그리고 모유 수유방법 등의 모성요인이 영향을 미치는 변수로 선정되었고 위 6개의 변수로 12개월 때 체중을 53.5% 설명할 수 있었다. 9개월 때와 6개월 때 체중이 큰 영아일수록 9개월부터 12개월 이내에 설사를 앓은 경험이 없으며 출생시 체중이 큰 영아군이 12개월 때 체중이 크게 나타났으며 모유 수유기간이 11개월 이상 길어진 경우는 12개월 때 체중이 낮았으며 모유수유 방법에 있어 영아가 원할 때마다 모유를 수유한 군이 12개월 때 체중이 더 높게 나타났다. [영문] To analyze the relationships between maternal factors and the weight gain of infants, 202 single born infants from 3 townships in Kangwha County who were delivered through normal vaginal delivery during the period January 1, 1979 to March 31, 1981 were measured the weight by prospective follow-up. Maternity records and well baby clinic records were linked to fillup the questionnaire. The Family Health Workers(FHW) visited every household with children aged 12 months or below to interview about child rearing after birth and other additional informations. The data of this study were analized through Stepwise Multiple Regression Analysis by calculating Pearson's Coefficients among 45 variables. The birth weight can be explained with 11.2 percent by the 3 variables selected, birth interval, maternal health during pregnancy and occupation of mother. The infant's weight at 3 month of age can be explained with 10.3 percent by the 2 variables selected, an infant's birth weight and duration of pregnancy. The lower the birth weight and the longer the duration of pregnancy, the smaller the weight at third month after birth. The infant's weight at 6 month of age can be explained with 53.0 percent by the 4 variables selected, an infant's weight at 3rd month of age, duration of pregnancy, the occurrence of diarrhea within 6 months and the place of birth. The infant's weight at 9 month of age can be explained with 38.3 percent by the 2 variables selected, the infant's weight at 6 months and the number of pregnancy miscarriage. The infant's weight at 12 month of age can be explained with 53.5 percent by the 6 variables selected, an infant's weight at each 9 month and 6 month, the occurrence of diarrhea during the period 9th to 12th month, birth weight, breast feeding period and method of feeding.restrictio
