Nano-sized TiO2 has been widely used in photocatalysts, pigments, and cosmetic additives, and toothpaste. These a lot of utilities led to releasing nanometrerials into the environment or discharge to the environment. As a result of ozone layer decrease, ultraviolet light could reach on the earths surface. Because TiO2 has photocatalytic activity, toxic effects could be changed. However little is known about the phototoxicity of TiO2 in aquatic organisms such as Daphnia magna (D. magna). Objectives The aim of this study was to evaluate the effect of light condition and particle size of TiO2 on Daphnia magna. Methods Aucte toxicity test and antioxidant enzyme toxicity test was performed. Acute toxicity test was performed on D. magna using pyrophosphated coated TiO2 (pyro-TiO2P25-70) and uncoated TiO2 (TiO2P25-70) under different light condition such as fluorescent light, ultraviolet-B (UV-B) light and solar light. In addition, antioxidant enzymes such as catalase (CAT), superoxide dismutase (SOD), glutathione s-transferase (GST), and lipid peroxidation (MDA) were analyzed to understand the mechanism of phototoxicity. Results TiO2 toxicity changed with light condition. TiO2 toxicity increased under UV-B and solar light condition. D. magna was more susceptible to TiO2P25-70 than pyro-TiO2P25-70. Antioxidant enzymes, CAT and SOD were similarly expressed to mortality however MDA expression shown reversely expressed pattern compared to CAT and SOD expression. Conclusion TiO2 could be occurred phototoxicity thus when it released to real environmental condition, TiO2 toxicity more increased. Micro size particles more toxic than nano size particle according to particle characteristics and test species. TiO2 could mainly affects test species through oxidative stress mechanisms but other toxic mechanisms such as biological surface coating were also considered. Present study is worth than other toxicity test under laboratory condition because we conducted toxicity test under real environmental condition.Abstract Introduction Materials and Methods Test materials Maintenance of D. magna Toxicity test design D. magna acute toxicity test Light conditions Antioxidant enzyme analysis Statistical analysis Results D. magna acute toxicity Antioxidant enzyme activity Discussion Conclusion References ๊ตญ๋ฌธ์ดˆ๋กMaste

Montenegro, after having made a joint agreement in March 2003, forms a Federation with Serbia. The main contents of the join agreement are as follows; First, Serbia and Montenegro will keep the federation governments for 3 more years. Second, Montenegro has to make a decision on their independence through a referendum. Third, the new country should be named Federation of Serbia-Montenegro Republics.' This study will discuss historical reasons and significance that may underlie the independence Montenegro is trying to gain from Serbia in terms of Serbianism. Chapter II observes how Serbianism has developed and affected problems of Montenegro's independence. This will be the bases of discussion in Chapters III and IV, where I will analyze historical disputes and national conflicts over the issue of national identity between Montenegro and Serbia. These Chapters in particular will examine the processes of Montenegro's independence that was initiated in 1999, and the relevant details. Also, I will analyze Montenegro's present situation and the future prospects for its independence. Finally in Chapter V, I will summarize the significance of Serbianism in the regions of Former Yugoslavia and the problems associated with Montenegro's independence

In this paper, with a focus on the modern history of Yugoslavia, I analyze the selection of diplomats and the implementation of diplomatic policy of small and medium states, concentrating on the avoidance of war and the protection of sovereignty under the Bipolar System after the Second World War. The diplomacy of the former Yugoslavia can be divided into three periods. The first period is associated with their alliance with the former Soviet Union. The diplomatic strategy of this period is noted for its efforts to win the Second World War and to establish a socialist state. The second period is associated with Yugoslavia's attempts at secession from its alliance with the Soviet Union. Before and after that period, conflicts between Yugoslavia and the Soviet Union expanded due to the Soviet Union's interest in intervening in the internal affairs of Yugoslavia despite Yugoslavia not being open to this intervention by the Soviet Union. The third period is noted for the aggressive threat of the Soviet Union to politically, economically and diplomatically isolate Yugoslavia in order to make Yugoslavia conform and Yugoslavia's efforts to try to find various assistance from the West. Especially in this period, Yugoslavia could establish new diplomatic strategies for security. Namely, it could promote a 'a policy of nonalignment', influenced by the Korean War, which meant a collision with a bipolar strategy. And through this, Yugoslavia could offer diplomatic hope to non-aligned states which couldn't participate in the First or the Second World
