[์˜๋ฌธ] Recently a promotion of breastfeeding attitude among health care Profession along with Consumer's Right Association has been enhanced. The purpose of this study is to elucidate the effectiveness of breastfeeding education program on breastfeeding practice. The breastfeeding education program is consisted of individual lectures and providing on breastfeeding to the subjects have been given. Also two times of telephone counseling to the subjects while they discharged from hospital. This study is a quasi-experimental design using non-equivalent control group post-test non-synchronized design. Data collection was done from March 19 to May 12 in 1995. A data on control group was collected first and week interval was established between control group and experimental group to get effectiveness of information diffusion. The subjects was selected from 6 local obstetric clinics in T city. Also sampling was conducted with convenience. The data were analyzed in terms of percentage, ฯ‡**2 -test and logistic regression through Spss-PC. The following is the summary of this study. 1) Breastfeeding rate of the experimental group was higher than the control group.(ฯ‡**2 = 5.6600, P= .0590 : Odds Ratio = 4.0166, P= .0010, 95% CI= 1.7608-9.1611) 2) Factors related to breastfeeding were a delivery type, a job, a feeding plan, especially bottle feeding(job Odds ratio=.2260, P=.0139, 95% Cl=0.0691-0.7391; delivery type Odds ratio=.4342, p=.0427, 95% Cl=0.1937-0.9727: bottle feeding plan Odds Ratio=.0737, p=.0023, 95% Cl=0.0138-03929). 3) The insufficient milk supply was th main cause of bottle feeding. Also there exists a week of time difference on starting bottle feeding between the experimental and control groups. In conclusion, a strong emphasis on the breastfeeding education along with intensive telephone counseling shows a significant promotion of breastfeeding.restrictio

[์˜๋ฌธ]The purpose of this study was to develop and test the structural model of a contraceptive behavior in Married Korean women. A hypothesis model was constructed on the basis of the health belief model, the theory of planned behavior and extensive literature review of contraception. The model was built by seven constructs. Four exogeneous variables included in the model were consisted of the contraceptive knowledges, the perceived threats, the sexual autonomy and the communication within couple. Four endogenous variables were consisted of the attitudes toward contraception, the perceived control, the ability to plan a intercourse and the contraceptive behaviors. Empirical data for testing the hypothetical model were collected by the self report questionnaires from 243 Korean married women. The questionnaires used in this study were developed by this researcher and their Cronbach's alpha scores were ranged from .60 to .88. The collected data were analyzed by SPSS program(ver. 8.0) for descriptive statistical analysis and LISREL program(ver. 8.12a) for covariance structural analysis. In the test of hypothetical model to the empirical data, the overall fitness indices were ฯ‡2=43.03, p=0.019, ฯ‡2/df=1.65, GFI=0.97, AGFI= 0.93, RMR=0.03, NNFI=0.97, NFI=0.97, CN=257.72. For the further parsimonious model, a modification model was constructed by deleting 4 paths in accordance with the statistical and theoretical criteria. In the final model, the overall fitness indices were ฯ‡2=20.54, p=0.77, ฯ‡2/df=0.79, GFI=0.99, AGFI= 0.96, RMR=0.03, NNFI=1.01, NFI=0.98, CN=538.87. The final model could explain the 80% of contraception behaviors. The results of testing hypothesis were followed : 1. The perceived threats(ฮณ=0.64, t=3.26) and the communications within couple(ฮณ=0.31, t=4.38) had a significant direct effect on the attitudes toward contraception. 2. The perceived threats(ฮณ=0.93, t=3.63) and the communications within couple couples(ฮณ=0.28, t=2.53) had a significant direct effect on the perceived control. 3. The communication between couples(ฮณ=0.28, t=2.53) had a significant direct effect on the ability to plan an intercourse. 4. The perceived threats had a significant indirect effect(ฮณ=0.87, t=3.42) and a total effect(ฮณ=1.11, t=3.03) on the contraceptive behavior. The communications within couple had a significant indirect effect(ฮณ=0.30, t=2.67)and a total effect(ฮณ=0.39, t=2.53) on the contraceptive behavior. And the attitudes toward contraception(ฮณ=0.33, t=1.99) and the perceived control(ฮณ=0.71, t=5.62) had a significant direct effect on the contraceptive behavior. 5. The contraceptive knowledge had a insignificant effect on the attitudes toward contraception, the perceived control and contraceptive behaviors. Also, sexual autonomy had an insignificant effect on the attitudes toward contraception, the perceived control and contraceptive behaviors. It could make the women practice contraception continually and correctly that they have the high perceived threats, the effective communication within couple, the positive attitudes toward contraception, and the high perceived control. On the basis of this results, it could be suggested that contraceptive behaviors be greatly affected by the perceived threats, the communications within couple, the attitudes toward contraception and the perceived control. Finally this model would be useful for the practice, theory and research of nursing.ope
