    H-theorem do-conjecture

A pedagogical formulation of Loschimidt's paradox and H-theorem is presented with basic notation on occupancy on discrete states without invoking collision operators. A conjecture, so called H-theorem do-conjecture, build via invoking causal inference perspective on the dynamical evolution of classical many-particle system on a statistical ensemble. A numerical simulation of random walkers for deterministic diffusion demonstrate the causal effect of interventional ensemble, showing a dynamical behaviour as a test of the proposed conjecture. Moreover, the chosen game like dynamics provides an accessible practical example, named Ising-Conway game, in order to demonstrate increase in entropy over time, as a toy system of statistical physics.Comment: 3 pages, 3 figure

ART AND AESTHETICS IN HIGHER EDUCATION

Aesthetics as a discipline studies the nature, content, value and origin of art. The term ‘aesthetics’ originates from the Greek words ‘aisthanesthai’ (to hear, to perceive) and ‘aisthesisi’ (emotion, sense). Art depicts beauty when it reproduces the beauty in nature. Amongst the tasks of aestheticians when studying the universal structure of art is to propose theories. The theory of art explains the reason for accepting objects or events as art by presenting proposals to determine the common features shared by all works of art. The contribution of the interaction of different disciplines to the artistic activities and art views of students should be ensured. In this sense, we will attempt to find an answer to the question ‘How can we benefit more from “aesthetics” in the education of art?’ Our aim is introducing the concept of aesthetics to individuals and enable them to develop the skills to read art and works of art by employing theories of art in relation to art and aesthetics. More than the quality of education, aesthetic and theoretical knowledge increase the level of appreciation for life; not only do they serve as guides to life, but they also create positive changes in one’s social life. The art of aesthetic education in society can create positive effects while making the more common sought after. This should be the aim of aesthetic education. Aesthetic education, aesthetics and art theory can realise the relationship between understanding the artistic expressions of aesthetic judgement ability to reveal the value of expression skills and gain a critical perspective and targeting knowledge to ensure that the individual can produce work of art. Perspective is the creation of aesthetic thinking and problem-solving ability, while imagination is the primary goal for the improvement of education. In this context, we will try to answer the question of how we can benefit more from ‘aesthetics’ in art and aesthetic education in order to introduce the concept of aesthetics to individuals and provide them the ability to read art and works of art by employing art theories in the relationship between art and aesthetics.  Article visualizations

Analysing and Carving MS Word and PDF Files from RAM Images on Windows

In this study, a piece of software has been developed to recover the readable data by carving MS Word and PDF files from the RAM image. String searching, signature scanning, and data carving methods are used in the design of the software. The analysis was performed on a RAM image of 14 GB by using the software that was developed. The success rate for each file was determined by comparing the recovered data to the data in the original file. It was determined that the rate of data recovery decreases as the size of the MS Word or PDF files loaded onto RAM increases. Consequently, it is aimed to be an important example of obtaining electronic evidence from volatile data in forensic informatics with the proposed study

Synchronized Legg-Calve Perthes disease and comorbid perforated appendicitis

AbstractAbdominal pain is a very common complaint caused by a variety of conditions. Acute appendicitis is the most common cause of acute abdominal pain in children requiring surgical intervention. Legg-Calve-Perthes disease (LCPD) is a childhood condition that affects the hip, where the thighbone (femur) and pelvis meet in a ball-and-socket joint. The disease is initially asymptomatic or there is painless limp. The pain associated with LCPD is often localized in the inguinal region. The present study is aimed to present a patient with LCPD and comorbid perforated appendicitis and to highlight the importance of the differential diagnosis of abdominal pain as a delay in diagnosis can increase the risk of mortality. Analyzing the imaging technique, from the study it has been found out that clinicians should examine all the field about the diagnosis, not only the field around disease as a patient might have two separate acute problems at same time

Objectives: This study aimed to investigate the prevalence and dimensions of pineal gland calcification on cone-beam computed tomography (CBCT) in patients undergoing dental treatment. Materials and Methods: We retrospectively examined CBCT scans in which the pineal gland appeared in the field of view and noted the presence of pineal gland calcification (PGC). Anteroposterior, lateral, and area measurements of the PGCs were made by the same observer. Variables such as age and gender were recorded for each patient from previous clinical examination data. Results: Among 220 patients (135 females, 85 males), the prevalence of pineal gland calcification was 33.6%. There was no significant difference between males and females (p>0.05). PGC was strongly associated with older age (p<0.001). The PGCs had mean anteroposterior and lateral dimensions of 2.56±0.98 mm and 3.39±1.29 mm, respectively, and the mean total calcified area was 5.45±3.75 mm2. Conclusions: This study showed no correlation between age, gender, and PGC size. However, the average calcified area was found to be significantly larger in men than women.Amaç: Bu çalışmada diş tedavisi yapılan hastalarda konik ışınlı bilgisayarlı tomografi (KIBT) ile Pineal bez kalsifikasyonunun prevalansı ve boyutlarının değerlendirilmesi amaçlandı. Materyal ve Metot: Bu retrospektif çalışmada pineal bezin fov aralığında olduğu konik ışınlı bilgisayarlı tomografiler seçilmiştir. Pineal bez kalsifikasyonu görünürlüğü not edilmiştir.
