Design of a ROIC for scanning type HgCdTe LWIR focal plane arrays

Design of a silicon readout integrated circuit (ROIC) for LWIR HgCdTe Focal Plane is presented. ROIC incorporates time delay integration (TDI) functionality over seven elements with a supersampling rate of three, increasing SNR and the spatial resolution. Novelty of this topology is inside TDI stage; integration of charges in TDI stage implemented in current domain by using switched current structures that reduces required area for chip and improves linearity performance. ROIC, in terms of functionality, is capable of bidirectional scan, programmable integration time and 5 gain settings at the input. Programming can be done parallel or serially with digital interface. ROIC can handle up to 3.5V dynamic range with the input stage to be direct injection (DI) type. With the load being 10pF capacitive in parallel with 1MΩ resistance, output settling time is less than 250nsec enabling the clock frequency up to 4MHz. The manufacturing technology is 0.35μm, double poly-Si, four-metal (3 metals and 1 top metal) 5V CMOS process

This paper deals with the optimization of trial states for the computation of dominant eigenvalues of operators and very large matrices. In addition to preliminary results for the energy spectrum of van der Waals clusters, we review results of the application of this method to the computation of relaxation times of independent relaxation modes at the Ising critical point in two dimensions.Comment: 11 pages, 1 figur

Überlegungen zur Lebenssinnlosigkeit in Kurzgeschichten : "Ist es eine Komödie ist es eine Tragödie?" von Thomas Bernhard und "Die Oper auf der Strasse" von Sabahattin Kudret Aksal

In den letzten Jahren hat es sich durch die Globalisierung bemerkbar gemacht, dass heute die Grenzen zwischen verschiedenen Wissenschaftszweigen sowie Literatur, Kultur und Politik aufgehoben wurden. Die Globalisierung verursachte daher eine unaufhörliche Ausweitung der zwischenmenschlichen Beziehungen. Unter dem Lichte des oben angeführten verdichteten sozialen Beeinflussungsprozesses erreicht der Zeitmensch eine neue d.h. zeitgemäße Wahrnehmungswelt, die zur Globalisierung parallel lief. In diesem Zusammenhang habe ich die inhaltlichen Gemeinsamkeiten der problematischen Seelenzustände in Bezug auf Individualproblematik der betreffenden Texte „Ist Es Eine Komödie Ist Es Eine Tragödie?“ von Th. Bernhard (1931-1989) und „Die Oper Auf Der Strasse“ von S.K. Aksal (1920-1993) in die Hand genommen. Das Ziel des Beitrags ist es, die sinnlosen und problematischen Lebensabschnitte in den oben genannten Kurzgeschichten aus der Sicht des fähigen und talentierten Lesers zustande zu bringen und erst durch die interkulturellen Zusammenhänge die gemeinsamen Menschen- und Zeitfragen durch die kritische Lektüre der Texte dem Leser nahe zu bringen. Meine Arbeitsmethode ist eben deswegen Leserorientierte, psychoanalytische Annäherung und Komparatistik als Untersuchungsform

Effect of sinusoidal modulated currents and acute hypoxia on corticosterone content and activity of certain dehydrogenases in tissues of different rat organs during hypokinesia

The state of hypokinesia in rats was reproduced by keeping them for 30 days in special box cages that restricted their mobility in all directions. Results show the resistance to acute hypoxic hypoxia is increased. This is linked to the considerable rise in the reduced level of corticosterone in different organs and the succinate dehydrogenase activity in the liver and brain. The letter indicated the primary oxidation of succinate, which has great importance in the adaptation of the oxidative metabolism to acute oxygen insufficiency. The use of sinusoidal modulated currents in the period of hypokinesia promotes normalization of the indices for resistance of the rats to acute hypoxia

The First Life Studies Curriculum in the History of the Turkish Republic and the Influence of John Dewey

In accordance with the interests of the country, in an integrated manner with the civilized world, existing institutions and practices have been modernized in the Republican era, in addition to laying the foundations of the institutions and practices in modern Turkey. Important revisions have also been made in the field of education while these foundations were being laid. One of these revisions was the abolition of the 1924 curriculum, which was previously prepared quickly, and was considered not to fully meet the needs of the country, as well as the replacement of the 1926 curriculum. This revision has undoubtedly brought about important changes with it. One of these changes is that a Life Studies course was included in the curriculum for the first time, as a separate pivotal course within the framework of John Dewey’s collective teaching approach. The purpose of this study was to examine the first Life Studies curriculum of the Turkish Republic in terms of goals, content, objectives, skills, values and attitudes.  In this study, designed in the qualitative research design, the historical research method was preferred. The data of the study were gathered using document analysis and literature review. The findings obtained were considered to be a tool that would serve the purpose of the research and be analyzed through the descriptive analysis method. According to the results of the research, it was found that the Life Studies course is included in the curriculum as a pivotal course in the first three grades of primary education with an interdisciplinary approach. The content of the curriculum includes numerous objectives, such as learning by doing, field trips, decision-making, communicating, learning rules and preparing the child for life as an entrepreneur
