Melayu Deli as the Identity of Medan City

Changes in the society spread rapidly to all parts of the world, due to a modern communication. The city can be recognized through its own landmarks, such as historical buildings, cultures, and native people including heroes’ names shown in city streets. Currently, the people of Melayu Deli who live in Medan City realize that they have a triumphant past that can be seen from their various historical relics as evidence. Based on the title, the people of Melayu Deli have several titles, namely Tengku, Wan, Datuk, Adja, and Orang Kaya (OK). This study analyzes the current usage of Melayu Deli titles by applying a normative empirical analysis. The results show that the Tengku title was only given to people from the descendants of the Sultan (King). In ancient times, a Sultan had his own power and autonomous region and was called by Tuanku. Tengku (Tuanku) is originally meant leader/teacher in terms of morals, religion, and customs.   It can be concluded that although Sultan provided  the title to those people, there is not any regulation on it. Although the mechanisms of how the cells evade intrinsic or extrinsic signals of death and keep on dividing is not completely understood, there is a plethora of evidence that point to certain signalling molecules that are crucial conveyors of the fine tuning that slightly differs in cancer in comparison to control states. Teori Hak Milik Ditinjau dari Hak Atas Tanah Adat Melayu

Penelitian ini dibuat untuk mengkaji dan mengetahui teori hak milik hak atas tanah Adat Melayu. Pengakuan hukum adat diakui di Indonesia diatur dalam Undang-undang 1945 dan Undang-undang Pokok Agraria Nomor 5 Tahun 1960. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian hukum yuridis normatif melalui pendekatan sejarah dan pendekatan konsep. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui sejarah hak atas tanah Melayu dan teori yang menentukan hak milik atas Tanah Adat  Melayu. Sejarah hak atas tanah berawal dari kerajaan Aru dan kedatangan perkebunan asing wilayah Sumatera Timur. Advanced SBAS-DInSAR technique for controlling large civil infrastructures: an application to the Genzano di Lucania dam

Monitoring surface deformation on dams is commonly carried out by in situ geodetic surveying, which is time consuming and characterized by some limitations in space coverage and frequency. More recently microwave satellite-based technologies, such as advanced-DInSAR (Differential Synthetic Aperture Radar Interferometry), have allowed the integration and improvement of the observation capabilities of ground-based methods thanks to their effectiveness in collecting displacement measurements on many non-destructive control points, corresponding to radar reflecting targets. The availability of such a large number of points of measurement, which are distributed along the whole structure and are characterized by millimetric accuracy on displacement rates, can be profitably adopted for the calibration of numerical models. These models are implemented to simulate the structural behaviour of a dam under conditions of stress thus improving the ability to maintain safety standards. In this work, after having analysed how advanced DInSAR can effectively enhance the results from traditional monitoring systems that provide comparable accuracy measurements on a limited number of points, an FEM model of the Genzano di Lucania earth dam is developed and calibrated. This work is concentrated on the advanced DInSAR technique referred to as Small BAseline Subset (SBAS) approach, benefiting from its capability to generate deformation time series at full spatial resolution and from multi-sensor SAR data, to measure the vertical consolidation displacement of the Genzano di Lucania earth dam
