Some Coupled Fixed Point Results on Partial Metric Spaces
In this paper we give some coupled fixed point results for mappings
satisfying different contractive conditions on complete partial metric spaces.Comment: To appear in International Journal of Mathematics and Mathematical

A Comparative study of Arabic handwritten characters invariant feature
This paper is practically interested in the unchangeable feature of Arabic
handwritten character. It presents results of comparative study achieved on
certain features extraction techniques of handwritten character, based on Hough
transform, Fourier transform, Wavelet transform and Gabor Filter. Obtained
results show that Hough Transform and Gabor filter are insensible to the
rotation and translation, Fourier Transform is sensible to the rotation but
insensible to the translation, in contrast to Hough Transform and Gabor filter,
Wavelets Transform is sensitive to the rotation as well as to the translation
File Synchronization Systems Survey
Several solutions exist for file storage, sharing, and synchronization. Many
of them involve a central server, or a collection of servers, that either store
the files, or act as a gateway for them to be shared. Some systems take a
decentralized approach, wherein interconnected users form a peer-to-peer (P2P)
network, and partake in the sharing process: they share the files they possess
with others, and can obtain the files owned by other peers. In this paper, we
survey various technologies, both cloud-based and P2P-based, that users use to
synchronize their files across the network, and discuss their strengths and
weaknesses.Comment: The Sixth International Conference on Computer Science, Engineering &

Thermo-mechanical stress of bonded wires used in high power modules with alternating and direct current modes
Today, power electronic reliability is a main subject of interest for many companies and laboratories. The main process leading to the IGBT failure is the cycling thermal stress. Indeed the current ïŹow induce local heating and then mechanical stress. This paper deals with electro thermal stress under steady and transient current states. The main objective is to test bonded wires with active current cycle. Consequently, the thermo mechanical stress is obtained. A numerical 3D ïŹnite element model is presented and some experimental results are given. Indeed an infrared system monitors the temperature dispatching from an experimental test bench under active current cycle. The overall study is a ïŹrst step before a global simulation (electrical thermal-mechanical) in order to optimize some geometric parameters of the packaging
Verification of Timed Automata Using Rewrite Rules and Strategies
ELAN is a powerful language and environment for specifying and prototyping
deduction systems in a language based on rewrite rules controlled by
strategies. Timed automata is a class of continuous real-time models of
reactive systems for which efficient model-checking algorithms have been
devised. In this paper, we show that these algorithms can very easily be
prototyped in the ELAN system. This paper argues through this example that
rewriting based systems relying on rules and strategies are a good framework to
prototype, study and test rather efficiently symbolic model-checking
algorithms, i.e. algorithms which involve combination of graph exploration
rules, deduction rules, constraint solving techniques and decision procedures
