Through this paper we highlighted a few issues that characterize contemporary Romanian society and propose a new vision for overcoming the limitations of approaches to influence the global economic crisis. A first issue concerns the minimal impact it had in the Romanian economy to adopt the model that tended to be appropriated by the most developed countries of the world, namely knowledge-based competitiveness. Continuous innovation as the main engine of this model, brought a number of advantages but also huge risks. The second issue concerns the adoption in 2010 by the Romanian Parliament of the law 178/2010 on public-private partnerships. The immediate consequences of this law and was a good argument for initiating this study. Another issue concerns the social economy. Can it be made responsible for obtaining encouraging results from test "economic crisis"?social economy, NGOs, public-private partnership, PPP.

The performance of present-day informational technologies has two main properties: the universality of the structures used and the flexibility of the final user's interfaces. The first determines the potential cover area of the informational domain. The second determines the diversity and efficiency of processing methods of the proceedings being automated. The mentioned aspects are of great importance in agriculture and ecology because there are complex processes and considerable volumes of used information. For example, the meteoro-logical processes are a part of the ecological one like habitats' existential conditions and are known as a complex prognostic problem. The latter needs considerable computational resources to solve the appropriate equations. Likewise, agriculture as a controlled activity under strong impact from natural conditions has the same high requirements for diverse structures and flexibility of information processing.informational technology, flexibility, universality, cybernetic model, informational domain

Today we are witnessing an excessive introduction of nanotechnologies in our lives which brings a number of benefits, the elimination of communication barriers between people, freedom of movement to the acquisition by them of routine activities as well as the emergence of new needs would need continuous training to keep up with them and to reap the full benefits of potential. Division of labor and specialization in the entrepreneurs, the emergence and widespread quality standards, professionalism, teamwork, accountability are just some of the reasons that lead us to believe that, at present, although the activities are generated by individual needs, these cannot be satisfied entirely by a single entity called the individual, household, business or civil societyTraining, Public Services, eLearning, Knowledge Society

    Get PDF
During the last 2-3 decades regional competitiveness became one of the key concepts used in regional social-economical analysis. Another related term, competitiveness of an economical branch, economical sector or particular industry, is used as an indicator of great importance for the position of the products or services of a specific sector on a market which is more and more crowded. Taking into account the importance of the above mentioned terms, especially the importance granted to them by the Lisbon Agenda, and the fact that a bigger and bigger share of the Gross Domestic Product of a nation is achieved in the field of public services, this work tries to analyze the extent, at the level of the Romanian society, of the contribution of public services of general concern to the emergence and development of regional competitiveness poles, and also the way some services from the category mentioned could become themselves competitiveness poles at European and Romanian economy level.regional competitiveness; poles of competitiveness; public services of general concern.

Summary The masticatory muscles dysfunctions represent clinical pathologies, characterized by persistent pain in the masticatory muscles. The highest incidence is between the ages of 20 and 40, and is more prevalent in women. Over time, several etiological theories have tried to explain the occurrence and the development of the disease. Currently, the dysfunction is viewed through the integrated pain adaptation model and the biopsychosocial theory. Numerous factors and variables are described, which contribute to the onset, development and aggravation of the pathology, among which: environmental, psychological, genetic, constitutional, neurological factors etc. Their extensive study will lead to the modification of the treatment granted to patients with dysfunctions by applying the approaches of multidisciplinary, integrated and individualized medicine

    Get PDF
The Istro-Romanians are one of Europe’s smallest ethnic groups. They inhabit villages like: Šušnjevica (i.e. Suşnieviţa), Zejane (i.e. Jeiani), Brdo (i.e. Bârdo) and Nova Vas (i.e. Noselo), in the central and north-eastern corner of the Istria Peninsula, Croatia. Their dialect is currently included in the UNESCO Red Book of Endangered Languages as Seriously Endangered. Istro-Romanians are not accepted by the Croatian Constitution as a national minority. In the lack of any institutions to preserve their language and cultural heritage, the very existence of this ethnic group is threatened. In this paper I am presenting potential solutions for preserving the culture of Istro-Romanians
