The paper examines the status of agriculture development in Jordan, current challenges and potential of future development. Aim of the study is to find out the role of education and entrepreneurship in fostering agriculture development in Jordan through: introducing new technologies into the sector; applying modern and global marketing perspective, and youth entrepreneurship empowerment. This study is based on theoretical approach based on secondary research, and primary research includes two surveys were carried out at this study. Like various studies this study confirmed that water scarcity is the main challenge facing agriculture development in Jordan, and the sector is less developed than other sectors in the country. Nevertheless, this study added that youth entrepreneurship low participation in the sector is not only due to financial shortage and youth insufficient knowledge, but it's due to their low attitude to working in agriculture too. Therefore, it is suggested that there is a need for significant paradigm shift in the education system to meet the needs of the market. Also utilizing the role of R&D to enhance the management of water resources and emphasize desalination and wastewater reuse, and change youth's attitude to working in agriculture. Add to the aforementioned that there is a need to provide more financial and technical support to attract and help youth entrepreneurs to invest in the sector

Analyzing Arabic sentences is a difficult task; the difficulties come from several sources. One is that sentences are long and complex, the other difficulties come from the sentence structure. The syntactic structure of sentence parts may be missing, taking into accounts different orders of words and phrases. This paper aims to develop and assess an Arabic Lexicon. The new automatic Lexicon was developed with the purpose of analyzing and extracting the attributes of Arabic words. The lexicon was implemented using two-step process, tokenization and part of speech tagging. The output of the lexicon can be processed by another parser tool which perform an analysis on Arabic sentence to determines if the sentence follows a valid grammatical structure. An evaluation test was conducted to assess the effectiveness and efficiency of the new lexicon design using real sentences taken randomly. The results have shown a minimum accuracy rate of 92% which is considered highly satisfactory. The newly designed lexicon can be widely used for any application that requires Arabic Language analysis and processing

The study aimed to measure the relationship between computerized Accounting Information Systems (CAIS) and rationalizing the government expenditures at the general budget of Jordan, and the study sample consist of (176) employees who work in the Jordanian Ministry of Finance departments, which amounted to (22), including department managers and their assistants, financial auditors, and accounting departments' heads and accountants working in the departments. The study relied on the descriptive analytical approach, and the multiple correlation analysis was used to test the study hypotheses. The results showed the existence of a moral relationship between the dimensions of CAIS (human resources, equipments and devices, databases, procedures, and control) and rationalizing the government expenditures at the general budget of Jordan, and the study's recommendations included the need to provide governmental units with sufficient number of experts and programmers, in order to operate, manage, and maintain the devices and equipments, and data files, in a way that ensures the highest levels of control. Keywords: Computerized accounting information systems (CAIS), rationalization, government expenditures, general budget, Accounting Information Systems (AIS)

Document image analysis and recognition are important topics in the field of artificial intelligence. In this context, the availability of a database with good script samples is an important requirement for machine-learning processes. For Latin and Asian languages many suitable databases exist. However, there is a shortage of databases with Arabic samples. In this work, a new database of printed Arabic text is introduced. The new concept of collecting sub-words (PAWs) instead of words or individual character samples was adopted. These PAWs constitute all words in the Arabic language. The collected database consists of 83,056 images of PAWs extracted from approximately 550,000 different words. Each sample is presented in the database in five font types: Thuluth, Naskh, Andalusi, Typing Machine, and Kufi. In total, the database consists of 415,280 images. Moreover, ground truth information is included with each PAW image to describe its occurrence number, occurrence frequency, positions and the shapes of the characters. This paper presents a statistical analysis of the frequency of each PAW in the Arabic language
