Conventional economic theory advocates trade liberalization, and ultimately free trade because its benefits are said to outweigh its costs. This paper states the arguments for and against the liberalization of trade and then analyzes the case of Pakistan's trade liberalization. Empirical Formulation of Highway Traffic Flow Prediction Objective Function Based on Network Topology

Accurate Highway road predictions are necessary for timely decision making by the transport authorities. In this paper, we propose a traffic flow objective function for a highway road prediction model. The bi-directional flow function of individual roads is reported considering the net inflows and outflows by a topological breakdown of the highway network. Further, we optimise and compare the proposed objective function for constraints involved using stacked long short-term memory (LSTM) based recurrent neural network machine learning model considering different loss functions and training optimisation strategies. Finally, we report the best fitting machine learning model parameters for the proposed flow objective function for better prediction accuracy.Peer reviewe

Refining some results of S. S. Dragomir, several new reverses of the generalized triangle inequality in inner product spaces are given. Among several results, we establish some reverses for the Schwarz inequality. In particular, it is proved that if $a$ is a unit vector in a real or complex inner product space $(H;)$, $r, s>0, p\in(0,s], D=\{x\in H,\|rx-sa\|\leq p\}, x_1, x_2\in D-\{0\}$ and $\alpha_{r,s}=\min\{\frac{r^2\|x_k\|^2-p^2+s^2}{2rs\|x_k\|}: 1\leq k\leq 2 \}$, then $$\frac{\|x_1\|\|x_2\|-Re}{(\|x_1\|+\|x_2\|)^2}\leq \alpha_{r,s}.$$Comment: 12 page
